RE: Derby vs WBA - Match Thread - 4evaabaggie - 23-01-2026 Popped out in the car, short trip, radio WM, Johnstone and Price win the ball off of Agyemang, Johnstone trips over the ball, Agyemang wins it back, Price commits a strikers tackle (foul), free kick on our left, level with 18 yd line, cross comes in, first action for O’Leary, he fumbles it Agyemang scores. Same old same old. Derby’s first shot, another late goal, Albion special. Derby 1 Albion 0 HT. (Yesterday, 22:50)Salopbaggie Wrote: 1 shot 1 goal, us 4 shots no goals you have to ask why our player was going for the ball when O'Leary was right behind him and knocked the ball out of his hands did he not call or was he not trusted, not sure if it was Philips or Belik. Probably a little distrust, after all season playing in front of two goalkeepers who have proven to be dodgy. Need time to build trust and confidence in him, they have fifteen minutes to get that trust before the second half. RE: Derby vs WBA - Match Thread - Slick_Footwork - 23-01-2026 I think it was after about 3 games that I called Alan Pardew a clown. On this evidence, Eric Ramsay is going to give Pards a run for his money... Fair enough, he can't be blamed for the goalkeeping error and us being behind. But the performance is just dour. Watching paint dry would be more exciting. Is this our game plan in every game now? Playing every man behind the ball and trying to score from a set play? It's pathetic. We did this under Pulis away at Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City and we moaned about his negativity. At least then we were underdogs. Doing it against Derby in the Championship. It's embarrassing. I don't think we're ever going to score from open play with this set up. We just aren't getting any bodies forward. All he has to do is move Price into midfield and revert to a back 4 and at least we'll have another body in forward positions. It's not rocket scientist. But I can already tell he's stubborn by selecting the same formation after the Norwich debacle. I hope we turn it around in the second half and i'm wrong about Ramsey, but I can already feel that he's another Pardew. The mistakes are glaring and you can tell from his arrogant face that he's not going to change anything. RE: Derby vs WBA - Match Thread - Baggie_One - 23-01-2026 It’s ok we will bring on brunt, Morrison, Koran and greening with a bit of Phillips and kamara RE: Derby vs WBA - Match Thread - derbybaggie - 23-01-2026 Johnston, Heggs and Stiles off???? Idling Junior has done nothing.Who’s going to provide a service to Maja and Dike? RE: Derby vs WBA - Match Thread - Baggie_One - 23-01-2026 Idling Junior Who’s the one who decided signing him was a good idea ? Seriously like having my old PE teacher as a coach. Is it a case of we have to play certain players because their dad’s donated money for the kit?
