RE: Bristol City v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 24-01-2026 Still no club statement regarding Bannan. I expect that will come after the game. Club just released a statement thanking Amass for his time at Hillsborough. That almost certainly means he isnt coming back to S6. It just keeps getting better doesnt it? There's absolutely no chance of us finishing on 0pts. The records we'll break this season, thanks to Chansiri and bit parts from the EFL. Quite frankly we were robbed at QPR and Watford and should hqve about 5pts more on the board, not that it actually changes anything. It is the principle of it though. Cheating bastards. RE: Bristol City v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 24-01-2026 Aparantly Pompey have bought ingelson for 900k which if true is a bargain for us ! RE: Bristol City v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 24-01-2026 Not sure, ot sounded like we turned down a bid for Ingelsson. Maybe they came back with an improved offer, we're back to the days of having a fire sale RE: Bristol City v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 24-01-2026 Bristol city can reach the top 6 today depending on results ...The players may as well get back on the bus now . Apparently they haven't scored for three games. We'll soon fix that
RE: Bristol City v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Owlkev71 - 24-01-2026 Amass has joined Norwich. Portsmouth haven't signed Ingelsson, it was a reported bid that was rejected Bannan having a medical at Millwall tomorrow according to reports. Other media outlets saying Millwall haven't made a formal approach yet. Not sure who to believe. RE: Bristol City v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 24-01-2026 Not sure why Amass would go to Norwich, they're not exactly high up in the table either. Mixed reports about various players. I wish they'd jist announce all the departures as this continual bad news every week is devastating for the fans. Wooden clogs Lowe starts. Thats Brizzle with 12 men and us with 10. RE: Bristol City v The Owls SBC Match Thread - peiowl - 24-01-2026 Audio is from a different game on ifollow RE: Bristol City v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 24-01-2026 Chezzy game for some reason but it switched over now.. Opening Five minutes and its the same old mistakes. I dont think they're really learning anything. Bannan almost scoring from the corner, unlucky he nearly caught the keeper off guard. Johnson completely missed the ball unchallenged lol Couple of decent attacks by Wednesday but as usual, toothless. Unreal stuff at the back. Calamity, whimsy, and a good save thrown in the mix. We just moved the ball backwards from their corner flag to our keeper.. ridiculous. We need to be whipping crosses in. Its so negative. Poor stuff from Brizzle. Yet another club that shows just how poor the Championship is these days. Awful. Not a single shot on or off target by Wednesday I can see them getting a pen from.this ref. RE: Bristol City v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Owlkev71 - 24-01-2026 0-0 @ Ht Bristol have been poor, we don't look like scoring as usual. |
