I work with a young man who was a youth player under Eric at Shrewsbury. He says he is a thoroughly nice guy, knows his stuff and could not say enough good things about him. Not sure how much weight that carries in a higher division and being the head honcho outright. Many managers have tried and failed at the Albion. Good luck and happy hunting to whoever gets the hot seat.
