RE: GONE - Stairs - 06-01-2026 It is sad that a bold move for a young manager has failed. But we just never seem to get it right! Fingers crossed that the delay in sacking him was because we were setting up his replacement and it gets announced this coming few or so. Like you, Slick, I like the idea of McInnes. His time at Aberdeen ended not in a great way but, in reality he probably stayed a couple of years too long. He did an excellent job at Killie and is doing something similar at Hearts. I think you’re right that we wouldn’t be able to get him because of the current situation at Tynecastle, although I think Celtic’s decision to fire Nancy and reappoint Martin O’Neill for the nth time likely means that Hearts won’t win the league. Perhaps try to appoint him at the end of this season, assuming we haven’t been relegated, although even then he might not come. I suspect we will end up with Carrick RE: GONE - valpayne - 06-01-2026 carsley being touted as favourite. Thoughts on him anyone? RE: GONE - Arcane Astral Aeons - 06-01-2026 lets get steve bruce back i`m sure we all have left over cabbage going to waste RE: GONE - Blue Baggie - 06-01-2026 I only ask for a statement saying. Either Mozza stays until the end of the season or a new manager will appointed within the next few days. RE: GONE - Blue Baggie - 08-01-2026 Carsley wouldn't be the worst appointment. I would prefer Cooper or Carrick. Only because they've both worked in the Championship before. I thought Carsley was nailed on to be Blues manager sooner or later. |
