RE: TOWN v CARDIFF - Lord Snooty - 21-02-2015

Booed off after a draw with a team who were in the Premier League last season. I'll never understand Town fans.

RE: TOWN v CARDIFF - Denners - 21-02-2015

They hasn't won in 7 before today's game Snoots. People go with the current stats and not the stats that are worth something. Don't forget their £20 million parachute payment too!
Still well clear of the bottom 3!

Did Doyle play well for Cardiff?

RE: TOWN v CARDIFF - Amelia Chaffinch - 21-02-2015

Yes, matt, he started for them. Was subbed approx 70 minutes. He had a header saved by Smithies. On the negative side he tried a bit of cheating under our noses by reckoning to be hit in the face. He got up when he realised he hadn't got a free kick.

I don't think he looks out of place in the championship.

Christ that was like watching paint dry, Powell needs to grow a pair, we're the bloody home team ffs, be positive man. Today will have done nothing for season ticket sales for next season, thing is we've got to do it all again Tuesday, it'll probably be colder too, I can hardly wait.

RE: TOWN v CARDIFF - sloppyattheback - 21-02-2015

We started without tempo and sadly apart from Butterfield's probings no-one offered him any real support so we never got round them and put their goaly under pressure for 93 mins.

it was 2 cautious teams, Cardiff have brought more than their 560 fans for evening games in the past so a club that pulls 20,000 says it all how they feel currently about their squad and manager. Had we found another 10-15% we would have created more and probably nicked it. Thankfully Smithies played well tested him with crosses and Pelts floated free kicks, Huddy and Wm Wallace ( who got in some timely blocks and interceptions 2nd half) were solid and limited Jones who is one sizeable chunk of centre forward, their wide men looked handy but we coped and Whittingham played very deep so his left peg wasnt a threat too often.

Late subs (87 mins) were a waste of time, is that cos we still pay appearance money? Coady was anonymous we should have stuck Lolley or Bunn on earlier and shuffled the middle, Hogg rusty his passes astray and just cant drive forward, both JV and Wells offered little and I guess they tossed a coin to see who came off for Miller.

All round a disappointing afternoon, 2000 freebies in the top tier wont be rushing back, scraping 8000 on Tuesday evening if we're lucky.

Sadly it all comes from CP at the top, yes a point against a strong team on paper and considerable clout off the pitch is not to be sneered at but it was the manner of our tepid performance that was difficult to take and lead to the few boos at FT.

Me personally I'll hardly sleep till Tuesday now ....I'm buzzing !

Well I enjoyed it. Thought it was a good game that either side could've won. Just needed a goal to liven it up, but it never came.

RE: TOWN v CARDIFF - ARTERRIER - 22-02-2015

Snoots, it was bloody dire, what did you enjoy about it? If there is many more games that now until the end if the season then I'll be suicidal.

RE: TOWN v CARDIFF - Terrier1987cas - 22-02-2015

How anyone could enjoy that today is beyond me, 2 awful teams happy to take a point.

RE: TOWN v CARDIFF - Lord Snooty - 22-02-2015

What's the point of going if you don't enjoy it. The world is full of misery, my days out watching Town are something I look forward to and enjoy. My enjoyment of watching my football team is often spoilt by miserable fuckers whingeing.
How could anybody not enjoy watching the performance of Jacob Butterfield yesterday. How could anybody not enjoy the way Murray Wallace stuck ex Premier league star Kenwynne Jones in his back pocket.
Don't enjoy watching Town? Don't bloody go then!
