RE: HTAFC Prediction League 2025 Matchday 4 - theo_luddite - 01-02-2025
Thanks to Arfur Daley delivering a 2nd hand motor that had used 1/4 tank of juice between Cannock and mine (~8 miles tops) and looked like it had been down every possible muddy farm track on the way here, I'm posting a tad later than normal. The discussions have been a tad distracting. Thanks for the reminder Snoots. If only the emails from this site still worked?

I might have been late for that Barnsalee game.

OK, theo. Very honest of you. I was wondering if the game had started. I'll void that one then.
RE: HTAFC Prediction League 2025 Matchday 4 - theo_luddite - 01-02-2025
Not sure if I was in before the 12:30 kick off or closer to 1:00 pm to be honest. I think the latter but hard to tell as it goes from the time stamp to the nearest hour in short order, but what's two points between friends? It was only when I looked at the current scores I realised it was an early kick-off.
RE: HTAFC Prediction League 2025 Matchday 4 - Lord Snooty - 01-02-2025
Well you've got an unexpected bonus from Hoggy.
RE: HTAFC Prediction League 2025 Matchday 4 - theo_luddite - 01-02-2025
Yay. I've looked back on my interweb history and I was right on the wire. It says 12:30 but a VAR check would be too close to call, so let's leave it as my error for not getting it done sooner.
RE: HTAFC Prediction League 2025 Matchday 4 - Lord Snooty - 02-02-2025
Nah that's close enough. If you hadn't mentioned it I would've let it go anyway..
It's only a game.
RE: HTAFC Prediction League 2025 Matchday 4 - Lord Snooty - 02-02-2025
It now says you posted yesterday at 12.25 and modified at 12.29.
So all's well in the end.
RE: HTAFC Prediction League 2025 Matchday 4 - Lord Snooty - 02-02-2025
Division One results for Matchday 4: So having lost the lead of the Division One table last week, neonfoxinthebox has regained it again this week. He scored 8 points more than anybody else with a total of 18, which included a brave joker of Spurs to win at Brentford.
Nobody else got a correct joker, with two players actually wasting one on Town winning at Northampton.
Those two were Baggie Bob and themaclad, who really should've had the points, but Huddersfield Town are not a team to be trusted at the moment. Snooty failed on a West Brom win and St Charles Owl cocked up on putting Mansfield to win at Shrewsbury.
So all these negative scores helped the fox in his retaking of the lead, but he did also have two correct scores in his total, which puts him one point ahead of jjamez, who scored ten points this week. Bob is still in 3rd after scoring 8 and Snooty in 4th with a score also of ten. SCO scored ten as well, which leaves him in 5th.
Which leaves themaclad having a terrible start to the defence of his title. He only scored 4 points and is now 7 points adrift at the bottom of the chart.

Division Two results for Matchday 4: Once again, ritchiebaby's pre-arranged scores have come up trumps. Not only has he got the weekly top score again (3rd time in 4 matchdays), but he also got an 8 point joker with the Birmingham win. That now gives him a 15 point lead at the top of the table.
Theo has moved into 2nd place, having scored the second highest score. He got 18, behind ritchie's 22 and he also had Birmingham for a joker.
Amelia scored 16, Dev and Shep had 14 and Wakey got ten. Wakey did however get two points with his reverse psychology on a Town defeat.
So Shep and Devon both drop a place, as theo moves up. Amelia stays in 5th with Wakey 12 points behind now in 6th.
