RE: WBA - Easter Thread - Ska'dForLife-WBA - 01-04-2024 You were saying, gents? ![]() Obviously not the result we'd have hoped for at kick-off, but at 2-0 down beggars can't be choosers. Eight point cushion restored, ten would have been nicer, but we're getting there bit by bit. RE: WBA - Easter Thread - drewks - 01-04-2024 Well, in the long run, this could be seen as a BIG result. 2 down, well into the 2nd half.... a lot of our past teams would've lost by 3 or 4. To get a draw from that position will really fuel the team spirit and the drive that'll be needed for the final run in. Yup.... this result may actually prove to be better than a win! (my glass is definitely half full) RE: WBA - Easter Thread - Blue Baggie - 02-04-2024 (01-04-2024, 21:26)drewks Wrote: Well, in the long run, this could be seen as a BIG result. 2 down, well into the 2nd half.... a lot of our past teams would've lost by 3 or 4. Our 1st half was drab, Carlos contain them and press in the 2nd half has served us well. A few small improvements and we could be a very good side. |
