Positives?
Managed to avoid Man City becoming our record FA Cup defeat as well, by not beating our 6-0 defeat at Sunderland in 1950.
We avoided having a replay, an extra match we don't really need.
New lads looked alright.

Overall it was a mauling.....we hardly created anything and looked awful in possession.
On the plus side, was impressed with Brodie Spencer, Matos, and the overall defensive shape of the team.
Yes I know it was 5-0....but if we played that way against most other teams it would be a lot more competitive.
On the negative side not impressed with Wiles....to get out paced by Kovacic who is double his age was a tad embarrassing.

We did better than when we lost 6-1 in the prem!
Bojan looks like he will be a good option up top, even though it was one shot, it's how he made room to get it away. Id feel more confident with him up top and in front of goal than the majority of our other attacking players!
Spencer for a young lad, still a bit naive but that loan to Scotland has done him some good

Well, we had to keep him (Spencer) once we called him back as he'd played for us v Boro in the EFL Cup. You can only play for 2 teams in a season so we can't send him out again, except maybe to someone around National League North/South standard or lower and what would be the point of that when we could have left him up north?
