Burgzorg - his best touch of the night, Big Grin and then subbed for Danny Ward

Didn't forecast that but I'll take it. Some good saves from Maxwell again but good performance across the whole team.

Hope the 40-50+ guests tuning in tonight enjoyed it too Thumb up

Ooh - we're over 60 now

Quote:Huddersfield Town travel to Sunderland to the Stadium of Light on Wednesday night for another Darren Moore masterclass in how to play football with ten defenders.

Sunderland have a very young side and dominated their game at Plymouth on Saturday, but still lost 2-0. They had 24 shots and 14 corners, but their kids couldn't find the back of the net, so it should be a stroll in the park for our experienced back three of Michal Helik, Tom Lees and Matty Pearson, who have over 1,300 professional matches played between the three of them.

Pretty much as predicted. Smartass Tongue Smile Big Grin Cool

Another great finish by Delano van La Parra by the way. Somebody on the Twitter/X says one minute he's National League and the next he's Champions League. Big Grin

A mate of mine (RIP) used to have a phrase for describing his first touch for most of this evening.
It's not very PC these days so I won't repeat it but it's along the lines of that Twitter quote.

The lack of an outball v Watford and Hull has been very much present in the last two games as Moore has adopted and adapted Warnock's press and counter-attack tactics in the last two games. Well, 2nd half on Saturday and sporadically last night. 4 points that few if any would have predicted, even if Snoots's brave words in this thread didn't match his ambition in the Prediction League. Big Grin

Kasumu coming back has mostly made up for Rudoni being injured and Hogg isn't sitting so deep either.

On to Swansea ...

I didn't think you had a hope at Sunderland. They were the most enjoyable team to watch in ANY division last season. Bloody well done!
