Town's defence fall asleep just after half-time. What a surprise. Fortunately for us so does Hull's attack. Doh

'ull make a double sub and the ref gives Nicholls a yellow for time wasting at the same time. How does that work?

Doh

Didn't sound like we tried attacking Hull for more than a few minutes today.

The good news is we're still only 24 points behind Leicester. Thumb up

Stats don't lie. Two shots, one on target.

Rubbish!

Quote:Huddersfield manager Darren Moore told BBC Radio Leeds:

"We didn't allow Hull to get into the areas they wanted to get into, our shape off the ball was excellent and we limited Hull all afternoon to long-range efforts and minimal chances.

"Playing this way, the possession stats will be in their favour but it's the attempts on goal and clear-cut chances that were nullified.

"On the flip side I thought we used the ball better than we did against Watford, got into some threatening areas on the counter and caused them some problems.

"When you see the goal we conceded - the way the ball has ricocheted and who it's fallen to - it could have gone anywhere but it ended up with them and they've stuck it in the back of the net so it's a bitter one to swallow."

Once again it was pretty dire stuff, once I saw the team line up and the formation that Radio Leeds put out I knew we had no intention of trying to win the game and so it proved.

Hudlin had a shot on target in the first half and that was it as far as attacking goes. Moore set us up for the draw and he’ll say we were unlucky but the reality is we got what we deserved, nothing.

Pressure is mounting on both Moore and Nagle with the fan base who seemed to have given up

He's excited about the players we have returning in the next few weeks.

Who? Danny Ward?

RE: 'ull Tigers v Town Terriers - WakeyTerrier - 12-11-2023

It won’t make any difference when we have a goalkeeper and 7 defenders practically stood together.

I know it’s early days and I know he’s been dealt a very bad hand but Moore might be out of a job before December at this rate

It just goes to show that our excellent threads should have less football and more useless trivia, theo. Concentrate on the stuff that makes us feel good and ignore all the negativity. Cool Rolleyes

So when they appointed Big Dazza, saying they liked his attacking style, was that just from watching one match, the second leg against Peterborough?

Did they ignore the fact that they'd lost the first leg 4-0?

Did they ignore the fact that despite getting Wendy promoted, they weren't happy to keep him on?

And did they ignore the fact that the team he left behind are rubbish? You could say worse than us if you look at the league table.

This appointment has to be the daftest since we got rid of Macari to bring in Wadsworth.
