Never understood zonal marking for set pieces. Who do you pick up if 2 or 3 suddenly turn up in 'your zone' and nobody turns up in your mates zones?
Seems like a great plan for conceding goals from corners, which we've long been great at doing when we were supposedly man marking let alone zonal marking.

We concede everytime I comment Doh

An absolute bloody shambles. This is far worse than when we had Fotheringham here.

Carrying on where we left off on Saturday.

There's a few used DeLoreans on here .....

Now where do you find a 2nd hand flux capacitor?

Four half time subs. Let's hope it's positive.

Nope. Hopefully we keep L666s down to single figures at the weekend based on this performance.

I've not really heard or read anything about Moore pissing off the squad yet, à la Fotheringham, who did it as soon as he walked in the front door, but something ain't right here is it?

Have to say, those who've stayed have never stopped singing.
Some old classics coming out.

I made the effort to go last night, I also made a further effort to get up and leave when the fourth goal went in and let me tell you the majority of the crowd got up and left at that point (55mins) walking back to the gas works car park was like the full time whistle at 5pm on a Saturday.

I know Moore is getting lots of stick right now but it’s the total lack of quality in the squad that is killing us. Warnock was right when he said he was expecting more in terms of the budget which would have improved the squad.

Our back 3/4/5 are in the main so slow I think I could win a foot race with some of them. Nakayama last night was terrible, how that lad is a Japanese international is beyond me. Pearson is morphing into a poor man’s Jonny Hogg by the week.
Midfield were all over the shop and our centre forwards were non existent but then again they have been for most of the season.

I can only hope that thumping has come home to roost with the players and that they will put in an almighty effort at Leeds on Saturday, if they do that and Leeds have an off day we might scrape a 0-0 draw but I doubt it, another heavy defeat incoming

Fotheringham's biggest defeat was his first match in charge, a 3-1 defeat at Reading. Since he's left, we've had 4-0 hammerings against Burnley, Coventry, Norwich and now Cardiff. Add to that a dire 4-1 defeat at Birmingham, begs the question, was Fozzy given the boot too soon?

RE: town v cardiff - theo_luddite - 25-10-2023

He was set on too soon, never mind not let go soon enough.
