It's a two beer/wine/coffee one isn't it? They've worked out how to cut the pointless crap at the start down to 4:30 mins, which is an improvement on 30 mins. Hell why couldn't they put Sorba the Taff's presser in there, where he wailed he doesn't like being shouted at?

Bless. Sensitive little shit.
He should be sent out to lick t'car park clean in time for tomorrow and sleep in a cardboard box under a tarpaulin on the roundabout by the cinema tonight for coming out with that one.

I've given today a miss. Would have been going alone and couldn't be bothered really.

Can't say too much about the lineup. I guess it's the best we can offer

1-0 scored by he who shall not be named by me.

Rudoni makes it 2.

Sounds a bit boring again.

2-1. Stop trying to sit on a lead. Doh

15 minutes of running 'em ragged and 2-0 up. QPR fans expecting a long day. Then Moore goes defensive for 75 minutes. Doh

He came close to making Gareth Ainsworth look like a tactical genius. Much more of this from our "long term future" guy and we'll be hoping Colin wants to leave his garden again. Game could have been done and dusted by halftime

RE: Huddersfield Town v QPR - Lord Snooty - 21-10-2023

Well, a win's a win. Like everyone else has said, why do we go defensive after that start? Baffling. And apparently Big Dazza was baffled as well.

Odd decision to play Koroma as an out and out left back. Which was fair enough for the first goal with Rudoni getting the ball instead of him. Perfect pass from Rudi to the hare coursing prick for a well taken goal. Don't think Josh would've released it so quickly. He may have scored himself of course, but would never have played that ball to Harratt.

Minutes later, Rudi adds a goal to his assist and the game's over.

Or is it?

Some idiot behind us started singing Sacked in the Morning. Too early for that, dickhead! 75 minutes left.

QPR were poor, but we sat back and let them have the ball, giving them more and more confidence. They were winning every ball at set pieces and therefore it was no surprise when Clarke-Saltedcaramel scored a header, leaping high above everyone else, just before half time.

They still looked poor in the second half, but I was convinced that the equaliser was coming. But no. It thankfully it didn't, mainly due to a remarkable clearance from the boy Helik. Bad miss/good save? Haven't seen the replay yet.

Finally, or should that have been firstly, thanks to all who repected the minute's silence. Not the moron shouting that this has nothing to do with football.

Did 9/11 have owt to do with football? Did Manchester Arena have owt to do wi' football? There are thousands of innocent people being slaughtered by warmongering twats. Many of them children. Show a bit of respect.

I've seen the replay but not seen/heard Moore's comments yet, but if these aren't his instructions why are we playing short balls from the keeper and then having to hoof it when he could get it to the same place or further himself. Play it out short if they are on the halfway line not the 18 yd line

Played like Brazil for 15 minutes and then Like Stockbridge Park Steels for 75 minutes.

Did we get away with it, yes, they really should’ve equalised in the second half but thankfully Helik got in a last ditch clearance..

Came away felling like we’d lost after having such a good start which just descended into sitting back, hoofing and hopinf for the best.

Major surgery needed for this team in January. IMO we need a right back, a left back, a player who can get hold of the ball in midfield and create things(a Mooy type of player) and a centre forward.

RE: Huddersfield Town v QPR - theo_luddite - 22-10-2023

Well, I've just got round to listening to Darren Moore's comments on Radio Local. It wasn't his decision to go defensive, the "team" apparently just went into defensive mode. Rudoni said the same. SO why did he wait until half-time to take them to task for it? Would Colin and Rocket Ron stood there for 30 minutes watching that? Would they 'eckerslike. They'd have been yelling a screaming at them to get back on the front foot. They wouldnt have been trying to play out from the back with most of QPR's side camped in our half either. And did the team take much notice of him at half-time?

I'm no fan of hoofball but when the oppo's back line keep seeing the ball drop over their heads for someone to run onto, they soon get them message and retreat to their own half, dragging their mid-field with them. Fortunately for us Ainsworth isn't a tactical genius either, as he took off their main threats and they lost all their shape too.
