Another 2 from my era
1. Billy Bremner
10. Brian Clough
(although Cloughie might not qualify as he wasn't there for very long - less time than Liz Truss, never mind the lettuce!)

8 is from Snoots' era - John Charles
2 is their nickname from before they played in all white - The Peacocks
4 is that song they sing that annoys the crap out of everyone else. Laugh

Thankfully they didn't go for the 9.

Just got home. Been out for a stroll around Shibden Hall.

How did we get on? Rolleyes

Did you go full monty and have a row round the ducks on the pond, a quick snuggle in whats-her-name's bed and a thrash round the pitch and putt? Assuming all are still available. We came 2nd, but we won the 2nd half, so that's OK then.

Didn't bother with the boating lake. Had a look around the Hall though. Very interesting.

Used to go there with my grandad and I was thinking it must be around 50 years since I was last there.

I could tell things weren't going well when Heppy's texting me with words like disgraceful, embarrassing and that useless Moore has to be sacked.

So anyway, we'll go back again for a walk around the park. Maybe to avoid another Town humbling. Sad

We were saying pretty much the same when Corberan took over. He had the joy of lock down keeping us out of the stadium. I doubt he'd have been around to get us to Wembley otherwise. Don't recall this many games with 4 in the onion bag though. It's becoming a habit.

That's true, theo. I couldn't stand Warnock when he first arrived in the 90's.

The thing is though, is that the latest incarnation of Warnock was a genius and we let him go. For what? Because Darren Moore had suddenly become available?

I car't speayk! Blush Doh Sick Confused

Quote:Huddersfield boss Darren Moore told BBC Radio Leeds:

"It's not a nice place to be at the moment, to concede four again today is a disappointment given the magnitude of the game. It was a game we wanted to respond in the right way after Tuesday night.

"There was a pivotal moment at 1-0 when we had a great chance which went begging but the disappointment was the two quickfire goals after that took the game away from us. We had to solidify the team a bit at half-time and the second half just petered out.

"I don't want to make excuses. I just thought at times some of our defending should have been better, I take full responsibility for it."
