Think this was one of the few ballacks that Warnock dropped whilst managing here. One being giving ward a new contract when he really didn't deserve it. That wage would have been a new striker. The other was letting our best out and out striker leave. He warranted a place on the bench every game at least. Come January I feel we will see Rhodes back and probably starting every game with one of koroma and burgzorg or both up there with him RE: Wendies v Town 07-10-23 - Lord Snooty - 08-10-2023 Only thing against that idea, jjamez, is that Moore was the one who released him from Wednesday. Personally I don't think we'll see him again. RE: Wendies v Town 07-10-23 - jjamez - 08-10-2023 I think he was released due to them being relegated and his wages being so high RE: Wendies v Town 07-10-23 - theo_luddite - 08-10-2023 If he scores 20 for Blackpool it might make our lot think a bit but I'm with Snoots on this one, he's gone. RE: Wendies v Town 07-10-23 - WakeyTerrier - 08-10-2023 Well that was petty poor. We were poor, Wednesday were poor and the officials whilst being the best of a bad bunch were also poor. Town really should’ve won it when Koroma lobbed a shot wide with goal wide open. Other than that it was dross. RE: Wendies v Town 07-10-23 - Lord Snooty - 08-10-2023 How's t' Yorkshire table looking, theo? RE: Wendies v Town 07-10-23 - theo_luddite - 09-10-2023 Funny you should ask Snoots. I'll swear blind I posted it yesterday, why else would I have copied it to Imgur? Ho Hum!! Town are back on top of the Yorkshire League, but between us and Wendies we've played as many games as the rest put together. Rotherham have a chance to start to catch-up a bit with Wendies the end of this month (when we play L666s), L666s and Hull the end of November and Boro in December. L666s also play Boro Dec 2nd. Hull have got us and Rotherham next month and Boro in December before Santa arrives. That should make it 5 games each. Wendies don't have another derby after Rotherham until next year, Hull Jan 1st, which kicks off the 2nd half of the most important League in the country. Did I miss anyone? Eh? I can see the comments. Bizarre. Musk needs sending on an orbit round the sun in one of his own rockets. RE: Wendies v Town 07-10-23 - theo_luddite - 09-10-2023 Xg - does anyone understand this lies, lies and statistics bollox? There was a point when I thought I did, then I had a cup of tea (it might have been a bottle of wine if I'm honest) and WTF? Not a Scooby-Doo. I could go into a coma reading this - https://jobsinfootball.com/blog/what-is-expected-goals-xg/#:~:text=How%20does%20Expected%20Goals%20work,scale%20between%200%20and%201.
