RE: Ipswich Town at home - Lord Snooty - 29-09-2023 Ipswich Anagrams: Well done, team. You've got them all well before kick off. ![]()
RE: Ipswich Town at home - Lord Snooty - 30-09-2023 Two team changes. Me and Amelia are both in the sick bay and not on today's cheerleading team. As for the lads out on the pitch, two team changes there as well with the Ruffello coming back in, as well as a recall for Sorba. RE: Ipswich Town at home - theo_luddite - 30-09-2023 Get well soon folks RE: Ipswich Town at home - Lord Snooty - 30-09-2023 ![]() ![]() RE: Ipswich Town at home - Lord Snooty - 30-09-2023 Not a bad result against the league leaders. League table is ridiculous at the moment. Five points between 8th and 22nd placed teams. RE: Ipswich Town at home - theo_luddite - 30-09-2023 I'd have taken the point before the game but a win and a defeat this week would have been 3 points not 2. That said we should have had 3 today. We let them back in. Suppose Coventry maybe said the same Monday. RE: Ipswich Town at home - WakeyTerrier - 30-09-2023 I’m not too disappointed by the result today. Both sides created chances and both sides should’ve taken those chances. Special mention to the Ipswich keeper who pulled off 3 blinding saves during the match. We started slowly but worked our way into the game and even managed to get in front with a Good finish from Burgzorg but the game swung back in Ipswich Towns favour when we made our triple substitution. From that point we struggled to get hold of the ball in midfield and the goal was coming. It just shows we need to strengthen the squad in January. Anyway it’s still a decent point against a decent team. Onwards and hopefully upwards in the next 2 games RE: Ipswich Town at home - Lord Snooty - 01-10-2023 It sounds like, listening to their manager's comments, that they over loaded our left hand side once that Yuta had gone off. And watching the highlights, I can see what he means. All their trouble seems to have come down that side. RE: Ipswich Town at home - theo_luddite - 01-10-2023 Yup, Jackson seemed to be marking/dealing with 2 players once he came on while Mount Fujiyama seemed to have time and space to get forward. OK we're fast becoming the draw specialists in the division but I think staying unbeaten keeps the spirits up even if win-one-lose-one is better for the points total. I dare say Darren Moore won't curry any favour in Brum on Tuesday, given his Baggies roots, but the Balti-Triangle isn't all that it once was these days either and Brum are starting to face "reality" after their nose-bleeding (by their standards) start. I've got a ticket, how I get there might be more interesting as I've a full day of work booked in Coventry before hand, just for a change. I might be looking for a park and ride in West Brom rather than drive all the way home and do public transport and taxi's back. The M6 is such a joy (?!?! er, not) at rush hour either end of the day in this part of the world. |
