Apologies Snoots, didn't get round to reading this yesterday, I was seeing a couple of blokes about some work to fill in the time between being sent to Coventry.

Anyroad, didn't see that result coming and I missed their 1st goal too . Take points like those anyday

An interesting write up. I've heard the name Wilf Mannion mentioned in my tome..   Still,  a great result, now keep it going.  Smile

I was going to say keep it up, but it might offend some people.

Wilf is the one with the statue at the Riverside Stadium.

Look back, and you'll see i said that a month ago.. they don't call me bobnostradamus for nothing you know. Wink

It would seem the next two games might be tricky, so maybe 1pt.

Well I didn't see that coming at Half time, everyone I've spoken to said the same.. we were just waiting for Boro to go 2 nil up and then we could all go back to the pub.

I wouldn't say we played badly in the first half, I thought we did Ok and defended quite well up until them scoring but other than a decent first 5 minutes it wasn't much to write home about. Danny Ward to be fair to him ran his socks off in the first half but when he did win the ball most of our lot were 20/30yards away from him

Second half comes and in 15/20minutes we pull out a performance from nowhere, blowing Boro out of the water. Ruffles earns a bit of luck from a couple of half tackles and produces the best finish our first team have seen all season.
Josh Koroma does what we know he like to do, cutting inside and trying to curl into the far post and he does it well.
Matty Pearson then runs the show, first of all scoring from a corner which could've been a foul either way between him and Tommy Smith but hey we will take that slice of luck and then he pops up totally unmarked at the far post to guide home our fourth. Not even sure what he was still doing there.

And all of a sudden we have hope, and it's the hope that kills you.
