RE: Town v Brizzle City - Reasons to be Cheerful - Part 3 - theo_luddite - 07-03-2023 Apologies, snoozing on the job, anyway 40 mins in and still 0-0 Knocker's not even in the squad, has he gone home? RE: Town v Brizzle City - Reasons to be Cheerful - Part 3 - Lord Snooty - 07-03-2023 Oggy thought Knockaert was injured. Just looked at website and everyone injured gets a mention. The name Knockaert doesn't get a mention anywhere. Maybe he has gone home. First half stats. 28% possession. Zero shots. Zero corners. This is dire. Hold on. We have a corner now. RE: Town v Brizzle City - Reasons to be Cheerful - Part 3 - theo_luddite - 07-03-2023 Half-time 0-0, well, so far it's 4 less than the last two games RE: Town v Brizzle City - Reasons to be Cheerful - Part 3 - Lord Snooty - 07-03-2023 Hungbo off. Wilder's recalled him at half time. Much better in the second half, but from the two must win home games, we've taken one soiltary point. Three needed at the Boilerman Stadium on Saturday. RE: Town v Brizzle City - Reasons to be Cheerful - Part 3 - WakeyTerrier - 07-03-2023 It’s a point and a clean sheet. It was dire stuff for the first 75minutes or so and then we tried to win the game and almost nicked it at the end. RE: Town v Brizzle City - Reasons to be Cheerful - Part 3 - Lord Snooty - 08-03-2023 The one that was cleared off the line looked over to me. That blooming goal again. ![]() RE: Town v Brizzle City - Reasons to be Cheerful - Part 3 - theo_luddite - 08-03-2023 Neither side looked like they had a clue where the onion bag is to me. 3 games no goals 1 point. Hardly get out of jail free form is it? RE: Town v Brizzle City - Reasons to be Cheerful - Part 3 - Lord Snooty - 08-03-2023 Knockaert has a personal issue and is on compassionate leave. RE: Town v Brizzle City - Reasons to be Cheerful - Part 3 - jjamez - 08-03-2023 We were saying at work that with relegation looking extremely likely, Hoyle may take a deal where he gets as much money as possible back, it's only going down game by game. As for the game, I'm glad I didn't go, it was boring, we came to life a little in the last 5/10 minutes but we didn't play well at all. I still question why your only proven goalscorer in Rhodes, sits on the bench, now he wasn't even in the squad, yet two ineffective players in ward and waghorn get in ahead of him. Where was Rhodes last night, anyone know why he was missing?
