Hate to say it but ..... We don't deserve promotion. Our squad has no depth, and more holes quality wise than a sieve. We need a good back up keeper, the defence is flimsy, the midfield is strong and creating chances, forward line does not deliver. Over 20 shots only six on target, Hull, first shot, goal. Back to Bruce ball, loads of huff and puff, little substance, need a goalscorer badly. Great results at home but shite on the road.

He’s absolutely dreadful

Huge 45 minutes coming up. So ineffective up front; good possession, decent build up…..and then it all falls apart. Hull are an incredibly average team, and we’re losing to them. One shot, one goal.

4eva, completely agree except I think you’re being unfair on Griffiths. With the exception of a dodgy punch in the first half I thought he was fine and made an excellent save to keep it to 1-0. As for the rest, absolutely dire

Absolute crap! Switched it off at half time as I knew exactly we would lose ponderous lazy passing back sideways back and back again around our own penalty area just asking for trouble lost count of the amount of times when it was passed forward the forward line almost tripped up over the ball like they were doped up dike is a donkey albrighton nonexistent Swift zzzzz the great Jed Wallace wtf durr! Boring boring Albion no attacking purpose whatsoever and I’m truly truly sick of this. I’m rapidly losing interest and I don’t have the time to invest in the lazy half assed players we have. We’re an embarrassment. Hull btw are cannon fodder and they dumped us like tripe my good will has run out corberan is not the answer Lai is a corrupt evil bar steward and as for this team??? Turn the lights out the lot of you are gutless wasters

To be fair Val, I think there was plenty of attacking purpose- 20 shots; it’s just that it was extremely poor

I understand where Val is coming from and generally have to agree.
I will cut corberan some slack though, he has inherited absolute dross and has an owner who is bleeding the club dry.

BaggieSteve, I was not having a go at Griffiths, young lad just starting out at a higher level, a keeper needs protection from his defence, we have a lack in that department.
I was just saying to challenge for the title / promotion you need two first team goal keepers to push each other on, you need quality backups in every position, we are lacking in squad quality and depth.

4eva, to be fair I didn’t think you were having a go at him, it’s just that I’ve seen comments - not on this board - criticising him for yesterday and I thought it pretty unfair. There is no way we should have started the season with Button as either of our two keepers, I think we’ve been very delinquent in this area. However, I reckon we could just about manage with Palmer and Griffiths if we had two different full backs, better central defenders and some strikers. Apart from that, we’re looking good ?
