Famewo starts hunt and Patterson in the starting lineup .
No Johnson so he's definitely going for protection here rather than attacking .
I'm off now got a bloody meeting .

Would much rather have gone for the proven method of attacking and taking shots results in goals...
Really hope the idea here isn't negative, slow sideways and backwards crap. It'd be a shame to fall back on that after the last few games showing how effective our forward movement is

Not sure we can play as we did against Newcastle today. Newcastle came at us, had more possession and we did really well on the break. Wycombe will sit back with everyone behind the ball most of the time, we will have to break them down and be aware of their counter attack. Key will be getting the wingbacks forward as much as we can because that will stretch them. Paterson I assume is on to get stuck in a bit, they don't like it when other teams do that to them.

That's true, SCO.
It's the shithousery that worries me, especially with Paterson starting it'll take ten minutes before he's on a yellow.

Being pushed too deep,it's all Wycombe.
This is what I worried me also. They'll park the bus if they score.
We can't sit too deep

Derby in form. 2-1 up after trailing

Vaulks with a banger gtf in

1-0

Byers crocked. Not good at all, these injuries are getting ridiculous

RE: Wycombe v The Owls L1 Match Thread - St Charles Owl - 14-01-2023

Byers injured, don’t need that!!!

RE: Wycombe v The Owls L1 Match Thread - Washington - 14-01-2023

Didn’t see what happened to Byers. Probably a late ‘fair’ challenge. As usual the officials call it the wrong way on most of the shithousery.
