RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - SHEP_HTAFC - 18-10-2022 Great thread theo ![]() Not sure what to make of this game. Thought we would kick on after the Hull game and get at least a point v Rovrum, but not to be. If we have any chance of staying up this season we have to make our home games count. I'm going for a tight 2-1 win, but it could easily go the other way. RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - Amelia Chaffinch - 18-10-2022 Phil Cool should have had more fame than he did. "Then you get a Grace Jones you never ordered.'! ![]() RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - theo_luddite - 18-10-2022 There's a bit more of him here from the same gig, unfortunately not an "official" version so lots of noises off, as they say https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0ICMQNLjQY RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - Lord Snooty - 18-10-2022 Rolf Harris getting sent down didn't help his career. ![]() RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - theo_luddite - 18-10-2022 Certainly tied his kangaroo down and stopped him using his didgeridoo to, er, entertain(?) the kids ![]() RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - WakeyTerrier - 18-10-2022 I'm going tonight, don't really want to because i fear a repeat of last season's dreadful 0-0 RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - theo_luddite - 18-10-2022 Tonight's line ups - Turton in for Fujiyama for Town and a change on the bench RE: Town v Both Ends 18-Oct-2022 - theo_luddite - 18-10-2022 Based on that first half, neither side knows what a cows arse or a barn door looks like, let alone an onion bag. This red button lark is sort of OK, but no replays or anything (not even the half-time drivel). So apart from avoiding the cold winds, the rain occassionaly dribbling down the back of your neck (maybe not tonight), eating the cheaper (and cooked properly) food and being able to drink the beverage of your own choice, it's not that much different to being there. Except it hasn't cost me £30-£35 in juice, 5 hours on the motorway (there and back and avoiding the joys of Oldham) and the beers are way cheaper. I'll still be back up for the next Saturday home game though.
