RE: Rotherham Utd v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 15-10-2022 Penalty debatable tbh. Another piss-poor result on the road, though having seen that QPR lost 3-1 at Luton, that solitary point looks quite good. We could do with another 10 of them, soon. RE: Rotherham Utd v Huddersfield Town - WakeyTerrier - 15-10-2022 Average at best, couldn’t work out the subs he made who made no impact.. The race is on Truss Fothringham England World Cup exit Who leaves first? RE: Rotherham Utd v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 15-10-2022 Meanwhile - this winter's power cuts have started earlier than predicted - in Newcastle anyway. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2022/oct/15/organisers-apologise-after-sound-failure-hits-rugby-league-world-cup-opener ooops RE: Rotherham Utd v Huddersfield Town - Amelia Chaffinch - 15-10-2022 That's more entertaining than his singing. ![]() RE: Rotherham Utd v Huddersfield Town - theo_luddite - 15-10-2022 I predict er, .... more power cuts??? RE: Rotherham Utd v Huddersfield Town - jjamez - 16-10-2022 I'm predicting a tight race between who leaves first... But then again it'll probably cost us a fair bit to remove fotheringham and we all know dean ain't gonna do that. His heart isn't in this club any more, he's spending the bare minimum for us to survive, his prerogative, his money, his club, but surely he knows that it doesn't get better if we go down, right? I'd be asking bromby to leave first before fotheringham and England's world cup team, the man is a smarmy silver tongue who has peddled a lot of bs to get himself where he is. As for yesterdays performance. First half, fine, bad defending for the first goal, a bit rushed attacking, not too many chances created, Thomas crossed behind Rhodes, could he have done better, maybe, but it would have had to have been a touch and lay it back into midfield, attack over. Bad cross. The kasumu pass into Rhodes was awful, no chance of controlling and getting a shot away, it was too far behind him, its basic stuff and we fail it exceptionally well Second half, awful. Bad half time plan from fotheringham to not really go in. Bad defending once again for their goal, but terrible game management from then on. Woeful tactics, we killed the game off for them, taking a striker off when a goal behind was sheer stupidity. Logically you take one of the centre halves off for turton and push Thomas further up? Too many bad performances though, especially from the subs, don't think any player can hold their heads up after that, maybe Thomas who seems to be our only threat. It all comes down to bad management of the club, right at the top. We are lacking everywhere, if we stay up, I'm guessing it'll be by the skin of our teeth and I'm not sure what we will do to go forward for the season after. If we go down, it's a hell of a long road back, we'll lose a lot of fans, we already are and we'll lose a lot of money too RE: Rotherham Utd v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 16-10-2022 Who's giving the half time team talk, if Fothers is out watching the subs warming up? Surely that's his main job, geeing the lads up. Can't see any point at all in watching the subs. RE: Rotherham Utd v Huddersfield Town - WakeyTerrier - 17-10-2022 The picture painted by the club and the picture behind the scenes are a world apart right now. RE: Rotherham Utd v Huddersfield Town - Lord Snooty - 17-10-2022 I would be worried if we weren't creating chances. We are. Just should be putting more of them away. What I am worried about are the basic mistakes at the back. The first goal was Kasumu dawdling too long and getting robbed. The second was Kasumu missing a header. Kasumu, apart from that, had a great game. We need to cut out the sloppy defending. We've gone back to how we were before Matty Pearson arrived. The sooner we get him back the better. RE: Rotherham Utd v Huddersfield Town - jjamez - 17-10-2022 Kasumu being about 5"8 and marking wood with a young camara is what I'm worried about. Tom lees or helik should be marking their big men every game |
