Looks like a very Wagner like formation....

Or manning....

Or wolf.....

Just saying

Jordan Rhodes 1-0. Assist from the much maligned Duane Holmes.  Doh

Only 82 minutes to go and we've won our 2nd game of the season.  Doh

Why did I drop the penalty p4£ again?

Shocking miss from Sorbs again.

You have to ask why Danny's assistants didn't clue him in to how to get the team playing when you look at that first 20-25 mins. That or he was a stubborn bugger. It also helped that Cardiff mostly played like we've been doing with misplaced passes and nobody picking anyone up.

Thought Rhodes had missed to be honest with their keeper rooted to the spot.

Robinson looked more and more nervous the longer he had to wait to take the spot kick and if Nicholls had set off the wrong way he'd probably have got back for it, it was that poor.

Sat too deep for most of the 2nd half but that audacious lob from Rhodes and (I still don't know how he missed) Sorba the Taff's late effort could have sewn it up. As could Rudoni but he chose to dither rather than shoot or cross for Holmes.

Nicholls was back on form in goal keeping out the impossible again.

It's 3 points and I'll take 'em

Narcis and Rhodes post match on Radio Local. I had a signal today, well for some of the match.

We need to practice that celebration wave. Really looking rusty in that department. Whistle

We need refs to stop giving penalties against us when players that have lost the ball collapse in a heap holding their head too. Liner on our side couldn't wave his flag for a St. Georges Day parade, he certainly didn't for that, yet despite having the better view the ref still gave it.

Good to see we had square pegs in square holes today. Turton on the right, Nakayama on the left. And the out of form players, out of the team. Can't say fairer than that.

Young Etienne Camara got man of the match. Yes, can't argue, but his midfield colleague Kasumu must've been close. They do look alike. Whistle

I'd have given it to the old boy Jordan though. Ninety four Town goals now. Just another fourteen to catch Les Massie. He should start every match if he's fit enough to. With Wardy alongside him. I do much prefer a two pronged attack.

I do wish Sorba would pick his chin up off the floor. What's the matter with the lad? Do we need a psychology coach or whatever they call them these days?
