I missed it, and this bloody red button doesn't do replays, I'll have to wait for t'ighlights

Not sure why 5 mins added on first half, yes their player down for a while but that long? Take it though after expecting the worst after 2 mins in.

RE: QPR V Town - theo_luddite - 08-11-2022

Yeah, we win away

RE: QPR V Town - Lord Snooty - 08-11-2022

Heroic defending

RE: QPR V Town - theo_luddite - 08-11-2022

Still no idea why refs give yellow cards for time wasting when they can add on as much time as they want to as a result of time wasting. Ferkin double standards. Happy with that though when it all looked going pear shaped again 2 minutes in.

RE: QPR V Town - Lord Snooty - 09-11-2022

The ref was an absolute disgrace. Diarra booked for a midfield tussle. Dykes slams Boyle into the hoardings when the ball had gone. Didn't even speak to him, never mind a yellow, just turned to Nicholls and told him to hurry up with the free kick. Angry

So we won despite the ref. Nicholls, Boyle, Helik, outstanding. After the first minute that is. Tongue

And Ruffels. Two contendors for goal of the season. Big Grin

RE: QPR V Town - WakeyTerrier - 09-11-2022

A win is a win and that's the important thing at this point.

A real backs to the wall performance in the second half that we got away with thanks to a combination of decent defending and woeful finishing.

I watch via Ifollow and it's fair to say the commentary team from QPR were not fans of the following

1) Soba Thomas falling over nearly every time someone glanced past him
2) Lee Nicholls time wasting
3) The Ref

They were moaning about all above in the first half

RE: QPR V Town - Lord Snooty - 09-11-2022

That's a great performance from Mr Magoo when both sets of fans are complaining about him.

Thomas falling over? Every footballer does it. Including the QPR players  Doh

RE: QPR V Town - WakeyTerrier - 09-11-2022

To be fair it doesn't take much for him to fall over. The Co -commentator was Andy Sinton, I should have realised at the start it was him as when we went to Euro16 he was the guest speaker for the event we were at before the game..he was full of shit that day as well.

6 bookings last night, I think that means the club will face a fine

RE: QPR V Town - Lord Snooty - 09-11-2022

Of those 6 bookings, only Ward and Spencer was justified. QPR should've had at least two. The one on Diarra could've been a red, didn't even get yellow.

I'll put answers on when I've done the Swansea thread
