Instead it seems that the technology is as blind as the referees (allegedly). And not for the first time this weekend. Some referees are chickening out of making these decisions, because they can blame the technology if it goes tits up. Just scrap VAR - it's easy. RE: Terriers v Towers - Lord Snooty - 05-09-2022 The ref changed the ball shortly before we ""scored". Did we replace it with the wrong kind of ball? RE: Terriers v Towers - WakeyTerrier - 05-09-2022 I said to my mate at half time that if i had to describe our performance I would say it was alright, it wasn't good and it wasn't bad...it was just alright. We had loads of possession in the first half 67% and all i can remember from it was Sorba coming inside with a shot and Rudoni having a go from distance, both of which i would expect the keeper to save. Starting a 3 at the back which involved a midfielder in the middle and a right back playing on the left was bizarre but nowhere near as bizarre as having a center back on the bench to replace Hogg when he got injured but not using him. I'm afraid right now we have all the hallmarks of Barnsley last season Lost in the Play offs the season before Manager left for pastures new Best players were sold off Board failed to invest Club got relegated RE: Terriers v Towers - Lord Snooty - 05-09-2022 RE: Terriers v Towers - jjamez - 05-09-2022 i feel that this experiment isnt working obviously and nor will it work in the longer term. will schof make a good head coach...not sure, he doesnt strike me as having a presence, he seems more mild mannered and happy to be in the background, same as when he was a player, will he be a good coach, i dont see why not, but i think he is more of the bass guitarist rather than the frontman or the drummer. if the bromby having a lot of say in things is true, then this really needs addressing and id actually be inclined to think that dean doesnt know its going on, i think dean has left the running of the sports side to bromby after last year, although i expect some sort of change when hoyle gets 100% of the club. Personally i think the manager situation was representative of this as was the window. why would hoyle invest a lot when he only has 25%? you question the selections and decisions of yesterday, ruffles at cb when helik or yuta can play there properly, ward off for rhodes when really you need both on the pitch. if bromby is making tactical decisions then this highlights an whole new issue, youd also question schofield for yielding and agreeing to this. if it was schofields choice yesterday, then you question his tactical nouse. Maybe he tried being too clever, but it failed, although a few decisions ive seen this year are prime examples of where carlos used to frustrate during his time here RE: Terriers v Towers - themaclad - 05-09-2022 Schofield gone Not confirmed RE: Terriers v Towers - WakeyTerrier - 05-09-2022 Got another text at the weekend and bang in the middle were the following 3 words Schofield technically clueless RE: Terriers v Towers - theo_luddite - 05-09-2022 ![]() The keeper was all the way being the line let alone the ball. |
