"Here we go then...the last time Huddersfield Town won away to Preston North End was the day Sesame Street first aired in the United States, and the number one single in the UK charts was The Archies’ ‘Sugar, Sugar’."

Dirty tactics again from Preston. Particularly against O'Brien.

Anybody else notice those 13 first half shots?

No, me neither. How may pigeons were killed?

A great advert for the Championship. Whistle

Getting lucky with the referee's decisions lately. The stonewall penalty against Stoke. The 3rd minute red card against Derby. The cancelled equaliser against Barnsley. And now another stonewall penalty not given.

Good refereeing. Big Grin

What penalty? He slipped on the turf i.e. he fell over - how many replays do you need? Whistle

Still haven't won for 50 years though but I'll take the point.

Suspect Snoots means the first one on Riis, should have had one for handball as well in the first but in fairness to the ref unsighted
Tactical interesting game rather than exciting thought we did enough to win it but didn’t score

Dreadful, I think that sums us up

RE: Preston away match thread - Lord Snooty - 10-02-2022

I don't think the Lees handball was a penalty. He's turning his body away and the ball hits it. Definitely not deliberate.

Shows what a crap game it was when all there is to talk about is whether a penalty should've been awarded or not.

Drab game really.
Preston the better team. Town were rubbish but defended well enough.
