Most of us, including me, thought we would lose that game....a bonus 3 points for me. If someone would have said to me you will be on the same number of points as Nottm Forest after 25 games I would've had them committed.!! RE: Town v Watford match thread - Lord Snooty - 10-01-2015 Brilliant match. Nakki man of the match, but run close by so many. Robinson, Butterfield, Gobern, Lynch. Wowzers, Lynch! What a goal. RE: Town v Watford match thread - SHEP_HTAFC - 10-01-2015 Don't forget......we are main match on the FLS tonight. RE: Town v Watford match thread - Denners - 10-01-2015 Was Bet's goal that good? Wasn't there today and the twitter feed can't be believed at the best of times! Cracking win. RE: Town v Watford match thread - TerrierTim - 10-01-2015 Well blown me down - that was a delicious result for the Blue + White....didn't see that coming - at best had us down for a draw with them getting a powder puff penalty for falling over their bootlaces. Well done .....! - now can we push on from this ? Luv Tim RE: Town v Watford match thread - EastLondonTerrier - 10-01-2015 Absolutely cracking win. Problems still almost cost us but a great win. First half, boring as hell but solid. Scanz was our only outlet and bar a few poor final balls was again consistent today. Butterfield ran the show. Vaughan and wells finally started to click second half. Smithies cost us a goal and the sooner Murphy is fit the better, he's starting to cost us more goals than he saves. Abysmal error today and smith almost gave away a penalty in the build-up. Only reason he's in the team is that peltier somehow can't displace him. Even gobern played alright. Second Half their player www clean through at 1-1 and skied it. Changed the momentum. We should have won 4-1, butterfield trying to square it to vaughan when he's 10 yards out with only the keeper to beat could have haunted us. Lynch and Hudson had good games as did Robinson who I thought was excellent in dealing with their winger. Watford can be terrifying on the break. But very weak at the back. We will continue to be targeted down the right with smith at full back. When they brought anya on all they did was give it to him and he had smith on toast. Still worries me but outstanding result. Did anyone think we'd win today? RE: Town v Watford match thread - Lord Snooty - 10-01-2015 Lynch got goal of the day on SSN. ![]() RE: Town v Watford match thread - HighlandTerrier58 - 10-01-2015 (10-01-2015, 21:24)Lord Snooty Wrote: Lynch got goal of the day on SSN.
