Surely a poor Zohore offers more than a poor Hugil?

We tried to close the game out from the moment Hugil came on. You could see their defenders start to relax because they know he’s just not a threat. Val is inept and bloody predictable. He needs to go.

Good result chaps Thumb up , we play 'em next. They are definitely a 2nd half team.

If we turn up at Barnsalee (for a change) this afternoon we'll have 'em in striking distance next week.

I was watching your game on the laptop and West Ham/Chelski on the tellybox. My head was back and forth to both games so much, I'm in need of some high quality neck oil to stop it seizing up. Enjoy your weekend. Smile

Sj booked for timewasting with a third of the match still to play.

That`s a stupid play, where did he get that instruction from?

DD Angry Angry

Thought Hugill did ok when he came on and was an improvement on Diangana who once again created nothing. As for getting rid of the manager - he’s got an average bunch of players sitting comfortably in the play offs just 6 points off 2nd. Maybe we should go for Pep?

RE: Coventry vs WBA - Match Thread - Mosestheballwinner - 05-12-2021

With respect Zinman Hugill did nothing and even less to prevent their goal. He huffs and puffs and whilst it’s admirable he doesn’t hurt teams. Diangana was pants I’ll give you that but to suggest that Val is doing alright is a stretch. Even with these average players we should be doing better. We should be able to pass the ball without having to resort to hoof ball. I’m afraid Val is coaching what talent this group has out of them.

Hugill is going back to Norwich I’m January and our mystery target is Josh Windass according to Football League World.

10 other players also did nothing to prevent their goal so why single out Hugill (who wasn’t the one assigned to mark the scorer). As for the manager, we’re currently 3rd, probably where we should be given the squad/wage bill we have. As for hoof ball, possibly a fair comment on our first 4 or 5 games, but after that we’ve mixed it up.

Hugill was standing right next to him
