Anybody got any ideas as to why we're playing tonight instead of last night? Especially seeing as we've a long trip down south at the weekend, seems a bit odd.

Nope, puzzled me too. They played Friday and also play next on Saturday so no sense in it that I can see.

Must be summat to do with Sky.

Well last night there were 4 games on the Red Button plus Smoke v Bornmuff on live, tonight there are 6 games on the Red Button plus Swans v Baggies on live - so it isn't due to available Red Button channels.

Speaking of other links between the two clubs, our old chum Stevie Bruce has finally yielded to the slow death and has left newcy browns, who saw that coming?

I've just been reading an old review of his novels. Comedy gold. They really need to get uk gold or someone like that to get them done for tv. Laugh

A bit like his success rate as a coach then?

Still, Welsh windbag Robbie Savage rates him and Bruuuuuuucie apparently has a cushion, or is that pillow? of a further $£7 million to cry into. You'd retire too with that and all the other pay-offs and wages he's pocketed for his incompetence when he had a job (when he didn't cut and run).

Done a reasonable job of keeping them in their own half for 30 mins, and then nearly let them in. We ain't done much in their half though.

I couldn't get any of the Red Button games last night, tonight they all came up, glad (I think Confused ) we are playing tonight
