RE: New manager - Baggievicar - 25-05-2021

I'm slightly allergic to the thought of being constantly called Frank Lampard's West Brom but I do think there would be positives.
I don't believe it will happen, though.
Micky Mellon...Derek McInnes...what's Alan Irvine up to these days?

RE: New manager - Blue Baggie - 26-05-2021

None of the managers mentioned have exactly been an outstanding success. If we want a hungry manager we need to be looking down the league. Our best managers have all been little known with a small amount of success. These are the guys who are hungry to prove themselves.

Jokanovic mentioned now. Gotta be a very good option.

Gone to Blades.
They've had longer to think about it, in fairness.

Barring any late unforeseen hiccups, Chris Wilder will be West Brom’s new manager. Wilder is their No 1 choice and talks are continuing on finalising a deal. #WBAFC

Don’t know if true or not but Nixon of the Sun tweeting similar.
I would be happy with this as he is my first choice, but until on website take with a pinch of salt.

RE: New manager - Stairs - 27-05-2021

I am happy with Wilder

RE: New manager - BaggieSteve - 27-05-2021

I guess it’s about as good as it gets although I would have been ok with Lampard, as he has a very good, if brief, track record of developing and bringing through young players. Maybe, we’ll be able to get Ollie Burke to come back, that would be just great, maybe team him up with Ollie McBurnie; what a dynamic partnership that would be! If only we could find a striker called Stan, then we could have Laurel & Hardy up front. That would just about sum us up.

There is something very wrong here!!! This is the Albion, its not Man Ure or Chealski, we can't have a list of 4 people who we are all OK with, somethings not right I tell you. Smile

looks like wilder has throw a spanner in the works by wanting to bring in his own technical adviser

Not quite right AAA Sheffield Utd want to move Knill to be Technical adviser which he does not want, Wilder wants him as assistant Manager.
