I've said all along this is the real reason for Brexit amongst Bodgit, Rees-Smog and the like.

As long as they can shovel their profits into tax havens so they don't have to pay tax here, they don't give a stuff about the rest of us. Hence also talk of making HMS GB & Nor'n-Iron a tax haven too - but don't worry - we'll still be paying our taxes down at street level. Hell, the poor little rich sods need to hang on their last millions and billions, how else will they survive into their tax-free pensionable years?

Naaaahhhh.

It was all about sovereignty, millions for the NHS, no more forinners in the queue at spoons and getting rid of all that nasty red tape.

I believe they were forced to retract that statement hours later as it was proved to be inaccurate. However, talk about eroding public confidence with scepticism prevalent among many folk! Rolleyes

I read that. They got the percentage of participants muddled up with the effectiveness rate. They should have checked with Astrazeneca before they published the data.

What? People putting stuff out in the main-stream-media before checking their facts? Hell, that would never be allowed to happen on Faceache and Twatter. Should be ashamed of themselves.

Whistle

As a matter of interest in the row over the vaccine the EU has invoked Article 16 there is now a hard border in Ireland

RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - hibeejim21 - 29-01-2021

But only in a limited and specific way.

RE: European Union Referendum - In or Out?? - themaclad - 29-01-2021

Yep NI can’t get vaccine from EU get the popcorn out fun about to begin it’s United both major parties at Westminster both Ireland and even the Archbishop of Canterbury

And 5 days after the EU pleading that the borders should remain open they are closing land borders

Forgot to add didn’t tell either London or Dublin they were doing it
