RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - WakeyTerrier - 30-09-2022 and they have a game tonight RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - theo_luddite - 07-10-2022 Cooperman at Forest has apparently just signed a new contract until 2025. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63172328 RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 07-10-2022 Getting ready for next season's play off push. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 09-10-2022 IFFY ONUORA DISCUSSES BLACK HISTORY MONTH https://www.htafc.com/news/2022/october/iffy-onuora-discusses-black-history-month/ RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - theo_luddite - 10-10-2022 As mentioned in the Prediction League thread, the Cabbage Patch Kid is looking to con some other poor deluded Chumpionship Chairman into another major payout. January, February maybe, last until the Summer? Must be one of the richest failures in football by now. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - WakeyTerrier - 12-10-2022 Players who go to the World Cup will earn clubs up to £9000 per day from the moment they join up with the National squad to the moment they are knocked out of the competition. However a club will only receive the full £9k if the player has been with that club for at least 2 years, those that have been less than 2 years the money will be shared out between his current club and clubs he has been at in the last 2 years, this will be shared out proportionally RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - SHEP_HTAFC - 12-10-2022 (12-10-2022, 09:35)WakeyTerrier Wrote: Players who go to the World Cup will earn clubs up to £9000 per day from the moment they join up with the National squad to the moment they are knocked out of the competition. Crazy....why should a club he was at 2 years ago for instance get any money. At least when Toffolo and O'Brien get picked for England we should get some brass. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - theo_luddite - 13-10-2022 Good article - every player and coach at every club from ooh, U10's? upwards should be made to read it - if only the headline. Why not stop hating the referee and try learning the laws of football? Why? This - Referee abuse: FA issued 380 bans for grassroots match official attacks last season and a lot of it comes from what they see on TV, but not the worst of it. Yes we all throw our arms up in despair at some refs decisions and maybe question whether his/her parents were married, like that's really a thing anymore? Verbal's can get out of hand even at very young yoof level, but physical assaults at this level? RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 13-10-2022 Yeah, ref. Learn the bloody laws of the game, you idiot. ![]() RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - theo_luddite - 13-10-2022 Or at least the laws as interpreted by those former players who sit in a big plastic box and spend ages pouring over umpteen replays from a thousand cameras to prove you got it wrong, when er, you most probably didn't, they did. |
