RE: RIFC - hibeejim21 - 25-04-2017 Its obvious rangers were knowingly spending money they didn't have and could never repay in order to win the league, and then get the money back from CL involvement. The SFA obviously turned a blind eye. The taxpayer (ie us) has been totally fleeced so to keep a competitive team on the park, whilst their stadium repairs were ignored and tax liabilities ignored. Smith, mcintyre and McLeish have all admitted such. Looks like Lloyds and sir dodgy were up to no good here and caused the club to go under. If anything whyte kept them alive by not paying the PAYE and NI as if he had they would have gone bust during the season and there would have been no way back. (25-04-2017, 16:55)edgie Wrote: Mcintyre sent home with a flee in his ear Murray group was planning for administration long before whyte arrived. The SFA were on point. That's how it looks. I don't think they figured on HMRC knocking back the CVA. Its an utter scandal and if the court of appeal back HMRC Scottish football needs to revisit the title stripping issue. RE: RIFC - edgie - 26-04-2017 Agreed re the titles "no sporting advantage" my arse I for one don't want them awarded to us, just taken off the financial dopers RE: RIFC - hibeejim21 - 26-04-2017 Murray confirms under oath the ebt scheme was to sign players they couldn't afford. Cheating bastards. RE: RIFC - edgie - 27-04-2017 (26-04-2017, 18:41)hibeejim21 Wrote: Murray confirms under oath the ebt scheme was to sign players they couldn't afford. No they got cleared totally nothing to see move on the resolution 12 guys will be loving this and more to come RE: RIFC - edgie - 03-05-2017 Findlay getting to the meat on the bones of why murray punted dead gers to Whyte 1) Whyte was the only one with a bid 2) bank made it clear that unless the deal was done by April 2011 then Murray would lose Murray metals. Option to buy it from MIH for £1 only available if deal goes through. Lloyd's reply to Murray letter now being shown Is dated 21 Jan 2011. Denies request to sell metals business to Murray unless. Unless "RFC is sold prior to the end of April..as previously agreed" Findlay "If the Rangers deal is done the metals business is released for £1?" Shanks "That's one way yes" Findlay "only way to be sure is do deal for Rangers before the end of April?" Shanks "Correct So whyte the only game in town, that Johnstone the rangers chairman at the time, didn't want to sell to, is Murrays only way of getting out from under the best part of 1 billion pounds worth of debt. Who was conning who?? RE: RIFC - hibeejim21 - 03-05-2017 Its pretty odd how the banks email says "There seems to be a belief that the club can operate beyond its means with impunity" and that "their budget isn't credible" and budget "not a supportable strategy" as assumes Champions League entry every year for 3 years. Yet as soon as they got humped out the CL they went on another spending spree. I would assume at that point they were so far under water that their only chance of getting through this was to make sure they got back into the CL the following season and stave off creditors until that money came in. The alternative they had at that point was probably the same as what actually happened in the end anyway!! RE: RIFC - hibeejim21 - 04-05-2017 (03-05-2017, 19:32)St Charles Owl Wrote:(03-05-2017, 18:41)hibeejim21 Wrote: Its pretty odd how the banks email says "There seems to be a belief that the club can operate beyond its means with impunity" and that "their budget isn't credible" and budget "not a supportable strategy" as assumes Champions League entry every year for 3 years. Like this you mean ? Email shows Jelavic transfer backed by loan from Ticketus, "not to appear on accounts" Findlay says hidden from shareholders? Shanks "Not in accounts' Findlay "They hid the use of Ticketus?" Shanks "Yes" Email continues bank demand to take further money from Ticketus to reduce debt Findlay "As a matter of principle Ticketus money could be used to pay back debt?" Shanks "Yes" If the SFA had disclosed the full extent of the financial chaos at oldco they wouldn't have been allowed near European football. RE: RIFC - edgie - 04-05-2017 Jim The SFA at the time lead by Brother Campbell and just previously Gordon Smith couldn't admit to the basket case that Rangers were. They were to invested, emotionally in the Now deed club. In Campbells case from a huge EBT. Also remember Campbell started the DOS (Discount Options Scheme) which caused the wee tax case. The SFA and Rangers where in fact the same entity, We see now with this evidence at the Craig Whyte trial that Rangers (deed co) knew in November 2010 that the wee tax bill was due and they had no defence against it, and for it to be appealed, this appeal must be registered by 31 December 2010. This wasn't done. Tax bills for late taxes are due immediately, not deferred for any reason other than appeal. Statement under oath from the Finance Director at the time shows they knew this and just refused to pay. The European licence was given incorrectly, now either rangers lied to the SFA or the SFA fecked up to help their club, make your own mind up on which. This alone RE: RIFC - hibeejim21 - 10-05-2017 So the wee tax case had crystalised before the SFA granted a license for European football. Regan's position is completely untenable now. |
