RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 3rd - Blue Baggie - 04-07-2019 I will say it again while Lia and Jenkins are running the show it's all downhill. I still believe they are bleeding the club dry. I have seen nothing to change that, if we can't make a profit when we have a £45 million parachute payment and make £10+ on transfers. What happens when we have no parachute payments or any players left to sell? I see us as a mid table 1st Division club. Jenkins and Dowling will have done a runner having cleaned us out. But us the true supporters will still be here. RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 3rd - wba13 - 04-07-2019 Sorry can’t agree Williams and Goodman ran the club dry, Jenkins has stabilised us again , cannot understand this hatred of a man who keeps us on the right side of the FFP LAWS . WE could bring in somebody who will ruin us other clubs There must be something good about Jenkins the likes of Peace and Lai trust him we ain’t in debt we have bought in a good manager instead of this constant dislike get behind them. Just wish they would speed up a bit....hopefully there is lots happening in the background that the journo's don't know about!! That's OK I respect your opinion, I don't hate Jenkins he has his qualities. You see the good in everyone and that's refreshing and we need fans that lift the mood. I am 110% behind Bilic - we will see over the next 4 weeks how much the senior management are prepared to back him. I am keen to see what Jenkins "Competitive Budget" consists of? I'm of the opinion Bilic won't get a penny more than is generated through sales. That IMO means Jenkins "Competitive Budget" consists of NOTHING. Just like last year "We don't need to sell anyone" and "We will do our transfer business early" - then we sell our biggest asset on the 31st of August and Jenkins then "Banks" the transfer fee. These are some of the reasons I don't like Jenkins, he's simply cannot be trusted. RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 3rd - Beefy 1965 - 05-07-2019 Don't shoot the messenger but ..... I'm hearing Filip Krovinovic announcement imminent !!! RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 3rd - BaggieSteve - 05-07-2019 We're really getting excited at a signing at last, I just hope he's good. Josh, you watch a lot of European football, have you seen him and is he any cop? RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 3rd - Beefy 1965 - 05-07-2019 FFS !!! Mattwilson@expressandstar Louie Barry has rejected his three-year contract offer and left #wba. England U16 striker has been interesting PSG, Barcelona, and RB Leipzig. If he moves abroad, Albion will get just £235,000 in compensation Told you so ..... Mattwilson@expressandstar Slaven Bilic has completed his first signing as #wba boss. Filip Krovinovic has joined on a season-long loan from Benfica. No option to buy included in the deal, but also no recall option in January https://t.co/8BDUdG97UK RE: Summer Transfer Window 2019 - July 3rd - WBA-Josh - 05-07-2019 (05-07-2019, 15:09)BaggieSteve Wrote: We're really getting excited at a signing at last, I just hope he's good. I’m going to let you down here because I haven’t seen him play. I only know what I have researched about him. He’s right footed, can play as a 10, 8 and left wing, is technically sound on the ball, has pace and can run with the ball at pace. He was very highly rated a couple of seasons ago but got an injury and missed most of last season. For us I can imagine him playing as the 10 in a 4231, which is the system that I expect Bilić to use, or as an 8 in a 433 alongside a box-to-box runner with a deeper playmaker or sitting midfielder behind them. Sitting Midfielder.. Yussuf Mulumbu?. Legs may have gone for box to box but has the ability to be a nuisance in a sitting midfield position IMHO. Please SB consider him... not going to cost much. |
