"What I find frustrating is that I believe many of our players are capable of a promotion push but they are being constrained by SG's tactics. SG made a big point of saying that he believed in competition for places but then says that Nuhui is the first name on the team sheet. No wonder that May's confidence is shot.

Nuhui is one player who won't feature if we are to get promoted but he persists with him even when we have nothing left to play for. His grudge against Madine means that Nuhui gets a starting role every week while Madine is in exile, pending departure."

I'd be careful what you say. I've been subjected to snide remarks (meant partially in fun, but enough already!), slagged, even told I'm "talking shit" for saying things like this.

Just thought I'd give you the heads up.

Keep saying it for as long as you can take all the backlash the though. Because it happens to be the truth. Thumb up Thumb up Thumb up Thumb up

Too many people (mainly fans that don't go to matches) have got used to accepting average as good and terrible as average.

In our last 30 league matches, we have won eight & five of those have been against the bottom three teams. Take those games out and we have three out of 23 against the rest of the division. That is poor by anyone's standards.

On my way to work I read your post, including all your info for Thurnscoe and his computer but by the time I got to work the post had disappeared!!!  I have checked the moderator logs and can find no record of the post at all, it hasn't been deleted by anyone, it just disappeared!!!  I will PM Mark and see if he can shed any light on it but as i say, I saw it and read it before it disappeared!!

No worries SCO, I started to wonder whether I'd typed it all out and forgot to hit 'Post' Big Grin
I PM'd Thurny the info anyway.

MS.

I honestly didn't realize our run had been so poor. Those statistics clearly do not lie. How we are even mid table is beyond me. It just shows how open this league really was, and is.

With better management even this average squad could have managed the playoffs. I feel we really would have benefitted from Drenthe staying.

We had a good start which has kept us clear of relegation all season. That and beating the bottom three.

Just like you, eh, Thurnscoe.? Thumb down Thumb down Thumb down

And people find ME annoying?

exactly

while we're on about well balanced arguments, if anyone can find a post by me saying that nuhiu will fire us to promotion or that we dont need better players than we have then i'll give you a rep point and a virtual pat on the back

i'll also personally apologise to pei for ever disagreeing with him and never say anything that might contradict what he's saying

Doh

Every time anyone has tried to debate your point about Nuhiu over the last few months they have been told that its bullshit or horseshit  Doh There was bound to be a time when someone finally cracked and responded in the same tone  Thumb up

RE: Match Thread - Wolves - Thurnscoe_OWL - 19-03-2015

This could be our last ever emergency loan player as Fifa are banning them from next season

Shit wrong thread Doh
Still, we can talk about the new lad here. Who will lose their spot based on Tuesdays performance?
