RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 26-08-2022 Looks like A.Neil could be taking over from O'Neil at Smoke on Stench. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - ritchiebaby - 26-08-2022 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62695089 Hibs sign Ryan Schofield on a season-long loan. Good business for Hibs after second choice keeper Kevin Dabrowski suffered a shoulder ligament injury. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 26-08-2022 Hope he does alright for you and gets a chance. He's been lacking confidence since getting injured and being on the end of that battering by Fulham last season. He has had some brilliant games, most notably the home win against Watford. He's obviously not in Schofield's plans though, he's not even been on the bench this season. RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 03-09-2022 Sad to hear about Eleanor Haigh. Part of the communications team at Town, did some of the YouTube interviews. She's died aged 26. RIP. ![]() RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 03-09-2022 A biography of Micky Kennedy coming out next month if you're interested. https://lm.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.portsmouth.co.uk%2Fsport%2Ffootball%2Fportsmouth-fc%2Fthe-lasting-tribute-to-a-portsmouth-legend-in-ode-to-ex-bradford-city-stoke-city-middlesbrough-and-huddersfield-town-favourite-3826203&h=AT01datKTz7bCxgeEsptEnTS8I60lM1cdWw4zx1PeJSyPerhNOfqNCTNeJwk_xn9Ocl-dv2Mb4VKosM2eOFT541yFVyrBJRa6rcVkW_UNNdj2QtEniYsRed0LqAvVX19RiBPJN4ab0Hq5k2SzR_F RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 08-09-2022 More bad news. Marcus Stewart has Motor Neurone Disease ![]() RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - themaclad - 08-09-2022 Marcus Stewart one of yours and our ex players diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 08-09-2022 https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12692910/marcus-stewart-former-premier-league-striker-diagnosed-with-motor-neurone-disease RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - WakeyTerrier - 08-09-2022 One of the best strikers to play for Town in my time watching them, really sad news RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - theo_luddite - 08-09-2022 One of those diseases you never know about until it gets you. A good friend and darned good golfer down here didn't last a year after being diagnosed. One of the few Wolves fans I got on with as he had brain cells between his ears when it came to football. Depends on which muscles it goes for, it went for his chest and diaphragm amongst others so he couldn't breath. Apparently this is very common. With Stephen Hawkins as an example, his diaphragm and his chest muscles were about the only one's it didn't go for, hence he lived for years with it even though he couldn't walk or talk due to it. Similar at the moment with all the rugby players that have got it that you see on TV. More about it https://www.brainresearchuk.org.uk/neurological-conditions/motor-neurone-disease#:~:text=Professor%20Stephen%20Hawking%20lived%20with,all%20forms%20of%20the%20disease. |
