RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - SHEP_HTAFC - 07-07-2022

Will we be known as Danny Schofields' Huddersfield from now on?

RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Devongone - 07-07-2022

At least that sorts out one of the three relegation places, now if Chesterfield could spend two seasons winning we might be in a position to provide a nice home and away double for you.

Wonder if he'll be bringing old mate Andy Holdsworth into the town fold, maybe even Michael Collins, he's had some managerial 'experience'

What a day. First BloJo, then Carlos. Now Rafa.  Rolleyes

Bozo is a welcome departure but not my favourite Spaniards.

Not sure of Deano's modus operandi but I think droppedus a bollockus is close to the mark

RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - WakeyTerrier - 08-07-2022

Having listened to the Bromby interview last night on RL Leeds he denies they have had a falling out and simply left because he feels he can't replicate last season. At the same time he can't explain the statement put out by Carlos. Someone somewhere is covering up the truth of what's gone on and I think the club are covering their own backs.

RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Devongone - 08-07-2022

I shouldn't have made a joke about your plight, which as usual seemed to arrive out of a clear blue sky. Obviously now you are going to lose players and recruitment will become difficult. Lots of other teams have been there and as realistic football fans you will no doubt be considering a relegation battle yourselves, when only days ago you were looking upwards.

But you will come again and you have known much darker days and survived them.

RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 08-07-2022

Au contraire, young Devongone. Even more optimistic about the coming season now. I don't think our recruitment policy will change. We'll still be going for the same calibre of players.

Don't forget, our new Head Coach Danny Schofield also coached under Bielsabub at the Beeston Skip and has been very much a huge part of this almost successful coaching team under Carlos.

I reckon it's business as usual. Crack on and push for promotion.

As for that statement put out by the so called Cowshed Loyal. Who the chuffing hell do they think they are?

Demanding the club explain what's going on. What do you think this is? A democracy?

RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - theo_luddite - 08-07-2022

Exactly m'lud - you'll have people calling for Hoyle to go and Bodgit to resign next. I mean , what kind of democracy is this?

What?

Oh!

Well, ooo'd a thunk that would 'appen, eh?
