As are a fair few others, with our track record on selecting our own academy youngsters to actually play we should just take the money. Good luck to the lad in the future.

It might be a time to get hold of the best youngsters and play them in the Championship for experience before returning to the Prem Whistle especially if our no 1 players are to sold or returned to their parent teams.

United have also joined Premier League rivals Tottenham and West Ham in the race to sign West Brom's English goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, 28, in preparation for the departure of Spanish stopper David de Gea, 30, this summer.ESPN.

West Brom will demand £20m for Johnstone if they are relegated to the Championship. (Telegraph).

And another £10M = £40M. Get it whilst he's hot and keep Josh. And Pereira not less than £50M.

I think Sam would be mad to go to Spurs or Man Utd. Utd never gave him a first team chance when he was there before his loan to Villa and then permanent move here and Spurs have spent 6/7 years trying to find a number 2 for Lloris and then selling or releasing them.

West Ham would be his best choice with Fabianski now 36 years old.

Transfers in the Chumpionship don't have 0's after the first digit and before the the first comma any more. Good luck with trying to get anything for one of your players out of a team in the Prima Donna League that does have an extra 0 in it before the first comma. To be honest, you don't see many that have more than 6 digits in total if it's not a free anymore. Things have changed a bit more than you might realise down here. Your parachute payments ain't what they used to be either.

Just saying.
