McInnes and Wilder all available but Appleton also rumoured to be in clubs radar.

It would make sense to act now. We are all but for the maths relegated and the rebuild starts now.

McInnes has experience and success plus Albion DNA so he (out of these three gets my vote). Appleton second for the reason that Wilder will need a break and won’t be fit enough for the shit that comes with dealing with Albion top brass!

Another name being banded around is Man City youth team coach and ex Albion player Enzo Maresca. Now there was a player for us, as a coach the jury is out.???

If Allardyce does leave after relegation (not a guarantee considering this club loves to reward failure) then Marco Silva would be top of my list.

I would like us to take another look at Bruno Labbadia though. He was interviewed for the job a few weeks before Bilic was appointed. He is known in Germany as the guy a club brings in to save them from relegation but he hates that reputation and wants to be able to build something at a club. That didn't work with Hertha Berlin this season but that club has been a mess for a couple of years now.

I'd take the risk with Maresca,
What have we got lose. Knows the club , great player and connections to City's academy.
We have to move on and try something different.
Start the championship campaign with new owners, new investment, new HC with dynamic hungry young players interspersed with with seasoned pros who still have some pride (Bartley)

Stairs, I think that if you'd seen Aberdeen's football this year, you might have a few doubts. It has been wretched (one goal in nine games). Accepting its always difficult to compete against Celtic and Rangers, because of their buying power (particularly from other SPL clubs), nevertheless, other teams and managers have made a better fist of it this year than Aberdeen, particularly in a season when Celtic have all but imploded. The first five years of McInnes' tenure were good but the last three have been extremely disappointing and this is not just about points/position as it's nearly always about finishing third. This is about the brand of football they've played, which has been dour and lacklustre....yes, its sounds like what we have now at the Hawthorns. I'm a big fan of McInnes the player and the manager from a few years ago but I think we'd all be disappointed at the football if he managed us.

Does BFS's present contract definitely run out at the end of THIS season?

No, next season, but he has a clean break clause so can walk away at the end of this one.

Does not help when your Chairman sells your best players from under you, sounds familiar somehow.

..... so essentially, the club CAN'T appoint another HC, or be seen to be considering it, anytime soon, unless BFS resigns. Is he really going to do that - surely he would never get another top 2 division job now; at his age, and with the last dismal 6 months of his team's non-performance? He's going to want to redeem himself by getting us straight back up!
Only other solution would be to sack him, but that's going to cost us so I really don't see that happening..... unless we have a new owner....

Agreed DD but other teams in the SPL with fewer resources than Aberdeen, are producing more attractive and effective football than the Dons.

Cracking hat-track by Orsic to knock Spurs out of the Europa tonight.

Have to wonder why after being linked with him for a year we decided to spend the money on Grant instead. That money would've paid for Orsic and a proper number 9.

Still, you live and you learn.
