RE: Match Thread - Cardiff City - St Charles Owl - 07-02-2015

We deserved that point with the second half performance but we could have had all three if SG wasn't so stubborn in playing Maguire!! Opportunity missed again to gain some traction, now 4 without a win!! The only positives were the play of McGugan, Helan being good again and SG changing the formation to 433 to go for it.

A point then. Had enough chances to win it but we have heard that all season long.
Vermijl seemed steady at RB, Bus won us the pen, Keane scored the pen and Barry seemed to do well when he came on.

SG out. Agree totally with what people are saying. But it wasn't just Maguire, why play Mattock too ?? He was useless last week and when changing it around he came off for Helan at LB. Playing Mattock and Maguire is gone beyond a joke.

DAAAA were the results today so no winners this week!!

RE: Match Thread - Cardiff City - Kimmyowl - 07-02-2015

Shocking first hour and SG has to take full responsibility for it,
Semedo made a massive difference coming on for the total waste of space that is maguire.
Mcgugan was excellent in his short stint on the pitch
Bus did well too, he constantly was on the move unlike the total static play from May.
But how can you expect to win a game when you only play for the last half hour

RE: Match Thread - Cardiff City - Was Wereham Owl - 07-02-2015

Ok, not good, but a point , SG out, decent manager in, few more class acts signed for next season onwards & upwards ..
Gonna now take my frustrations out in some online gaming, the pub .. and then home to bump uglies with the other half as she's in a GREAT mood with the Spurs result ..

RE: Match Thread - Cardiff City - Was Wereham Owl - 07-02-2015

Imre, but his signings have NOT helped him, Owls legend, but not sure I would want him as a manager to be honest , would rather we look a little higher UP the food chain.. someone with better contacts in Europe , as I'm guessing our new owners will, I suspect they are going to DEMAND promotion next season and continued success (as I would for £30 million), Pearson can't do that ..as he is proving!!, will have to consider who I personally would like , but he wouldn't be my choice to be fair

RE: Match Thread - Cardiff City - Southeyowl - 07-02-2015

We were poor first half, second half was all us! May should have buried that chance at the start of the second half. Bush.and Keane up front Tuesday night please!

RE: Match Thread - Cardiff City - Was Wereham Owl - 07-02-2015

Good point Imre, but Pearson wouldn't come, get us promoted then leave .. and WHEN we go up, I don't want to be like Leicester , rather more Like Man City

Well that was shite, better second half but still not good enough.Do we practice set pieces cos every free kick, corner is no danger to the opposition.Even from open play the ball usually gets overhit or we give it away too easy.It wasn't as cold today.Cardiff weren't much better,Kenwynne looks slow now, they out fought us in midfield same as Noblot and did their best to spoil the game.We should have the nous to combat their tactcics tough. However I feel it was a waste of £25 today.
