Not for me. Knows the league and done well on low budgets but awful football to watch which is partly why the Ipswich fans are fed up and against him.
Ideally we need a low budget Pep but no idea who that would be and I'm sure there's another 50 clubs in line and competition for them too.

ipswich is a team with no talent !! we have talent we just miss five solid players I.e. at the back he would sort that out and least forgot when he took wolves up they scored 5000 goals in one season .. he plays direct football remember that with wilko !! thats what we need clean sheets and goals when chances come 1-0 wins are ok by me as long whats the point of watching a team (carlos ) that has all the possesion and just huffs and puffs ? and as for Jos hes xxxx cluless completly xxxx clueless !! he has one formation the end his record is utter dogshit infact hes making Irvine go up in the stats !! he has no passion hence neither do the players !!

Clare stalling contract talks ... cant blame him there is now way in the world that i would sign up for Wednesday at the moment with the clown in charge and not Knowing whos going to be the manager next season is the biggest stall !! why would you seriously it just doesnt make any sense !! the only players that will sign are the ones that know there time is up and they can suck a little bit more life out of the club before they retire !!

McCarthy ... 6 seasons with Ipswich (and they aren't the worst side in the world over that time) , and done NOTHING !!!! .. why would anyone would want him at SWFC is beyond me, not saying JL is the answer , but I'm fekking CERTAIN MM isn't !!!!!

Just watched the highlights .. Wildsmith is a decent shotstopper, other than that I'm not certain he's even a goalkeeper tbh, no marking at the back post for the 3rd and Lees knew he was going to give a penalty away before he EVEN made the challenge , the upside (if there is one) .. FF's goal was a classy finish ... and......
