I don’t really want any of our best players to leave but it might be the only way of being able to spend some money on players rather than just be in for out of contract free transfers.

We have to make way to build the team even if there not deadwood !! in a simple easy football world we would get rid of all the deadwood and but 3 or 4 players and be happy !! but the way the ffp rules have fcuked the game up we have to now think about stick or twist players sch as bannan westwood hooper fessi reach joao and lees are in this stick or twist !! what we could get for one of these players could pave the way for at east 2 realy good players maybe ? although we would be losing one off course ...
But we at the moment are in no position to not do this !! on the other hand none of these players have convinced me we realy need them either ?
when we sold Varadi and lyons zico bannister shelton for peanuts etc and cried when we sold Varadi !! but the replacments we got after such as chapman hirst siggi johnson and even paul hart moved the team forward !! .. we can not stick to names we need a team and thats what this season has been missing !! problem is im in two minds if Jos can actually do this now hes lost the respect already through having to pick players he doesnt want too ? its not ideal is it !! players will now think they can produce whatever shit they want and he will forgive if the circumstances hold him too it !! he got to start getting ruthless now and take a chance instead of picking the players hes dropped a week ago because hes no choice !! hes slowly making his own grave ...
Hooper ..scores goals misses alot has skill in abundance but is fat and therfor is not fit and only plays at maximum 30 games a season thats 20 games he misses with the cup etc !
Reach .. has come into his own of late ! but cant do the basics like shoot on target or pass a 5 yard ball ?
Bannan ... isnt big enough mangers fall prey to thinking hes the general for all his good points ! but he gets steam rolled on and normally on big occaciones and derbys !
westwood ... injury prone and like bannan on realy big games drops a clanger !
lees ... hasnt stepped up to command a defence he always plays better when the pressure isnt on him like when his old has been captain is by his side !
Joao ... can be brilliant and other times cannot be arsed misses too many infront of goal maybe he needs time or maybe he will always be a tosser ?
Fessi the best in the business at times and others hes argentinian ... he has no loyaltys whatsoever he plays for himself !
these are the players that will bring money in !! stick or twist ? i say twist !!

Great post Imre, and absolutely spot on with the situation we find ourselves in. We are no different to other championship clubs who have had to cut their cloth after a push on promotion. Forest, L**ds, Derby and Brighton have all had the season we are having and then tried to push on again.

I would add Van Acken, Pellpussy and hunt to that list too. While we do need to keep our best players we really need the money to rebuild. Everyone of them has a price. What may help us is trying to swap players.... we can get rid of the deadwood (which is positive) while getting new someone in.
The big thing will be, would the likes of Westwood, Bannan leave to sit on the bench ? And with the injuries the bigger players currently have there value will drop. It's a real shit situation we have got ourselves in to.
Bargain basement shopping again... that little flurry didn't last long did it.

well thats the thing Towinjustice i would ship the lot out and think about building round the likes of hooper and fessi !! but realistic players who have just joined are basically going to have to be kicked out which will cost us or cold shouldered which we no is a waste of time ! im hoping Van acken who has talent will grow along with minge ? Hunt for me has to saty or we will have to buy 2 rightbacks
and hes not had a bad season realy ? and this is coming from someone who would have clubbed him to death personaly last 
but like you say or didnt 
in a perfect world we would shoot them all in the head with a German lugar pistol 
im getting visions of schindlers list and its making me feel happy

http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/03/04/sean-clare-could-still-net-sheffield-wednesday-a-profit-as-futur/ This is interesting if not alarming as far as Wednesday rejects go ! as he the last player i would sell although he may come to shit like palmer and joao ! he also showed glimpes against Villa that he was just what the Dr ordered wednesday ! a midfielder who isnt scared to run at defenders take them on and shoot scoring in the process of having balls aswell !!! he how ever is slow in positioning wank at tackleing and cant head a ball to save his life ! not the finished product but very promising and id like us to sign him unlike we didnt vardi and the rest of the list !!
