Get past Villa surely my time has come,

Please no more Heartbreaks Cry

Same 4 semi finals Beefy and every one hurt more each time, although QPR was probably the worst walking back from the coach with my crumpled flag Cry

Anyone else there that great day ?
Watched it on the telly in Kent as a kid. That's what started it all.....  Blush

Strange...So did I though it was the quarter final that got me started.

On whether I would prefer a cup or league win, my heart says cup but I think it depends on how many points we can get before the Villa match

Same thing Laugh

Bomber you are quite right QPR was the worst,

We had our dream team out that day and they didn't turn up for some reason.

All that and we lost to a fluke deflection Sick

You weren't part of that mob that carried that poor Hot Dog seller half way round the Stadium and tipped him over after the game were you Whistle

RE: FA Cup 2015 - Bournemouth Baggie - 17-02-2015

1969 at Hillsborough losing to Allan Clarke goal, Grandad drove up in his Austin 1100 took bloody ages. Then went to other SF at V Park, for some reason was the following weekend? QPR really hurt though.

I can't say I'm delighted with this draw, do you reckon non season ticket holders will be able to get a ticket in our end for this?

RE: FA Cup 2015 - BaggieMan - 17-02-2015

Doubt it Bairdy... If it's 6k tickets allocated to us, they'll be snapped up straight away. Are you a member or anything?

Cup, all the way.

Don't get me wrong; I don't want to lose to them in the league, and I'd even settle for a draw in that one if we couldn't win, just to keep them in the mix, but we absolutely have to get past them in the cup. Why? Because ultimately it's about us, not them. They could beat us in the league and still go down, and we wouldn't be any the worse off (presuming we get our own points elsewhere, which I reckon we will). But if they beat us in the cup, that's our best chance of a major trophy for at least the last seven years up in smoke. And I could tolerate heartbreak in the semi-final or final against a big team, because we'd at least have given it our best shot and been outclassed, but not in a quarter-final at Villa Park. This will go down as a missed opportunity if we blow it.

No pressure or anything, but I want us in that draw come the second week of March.
