His career stats say he is very clinical, tonight he had one decent chance with a header and put it just wide, aside from that we got nothing to him in any dangerous positions. It says it all about us when our best player tonight Joao did a lot of his best work when he came back for the ball, again he got very little service in the box and that is where the most goals are scored.

that didnt come across i i meant to write it !! i mean they were clynical when they had that one chance to win the game or that little bit of skill that got someone else in ? i once watched chapman run the lenght of the pitch beating his own shadow even and slotting it home like it was a walk in the park ? but these days are gone i know as springing the offside trap at the half way line today is more or less impossibble but could you imagine if rhodes had half a pitch to run at ffs !! he is nothing more than average !!!

Well his average is one goal every 2 games over the past 9 years, maybe it has gone for him, maybe he can't do that anymore but he never could run or tackle but he knew where the net was, Jos needs to work out which it is with him, lack of chances/service or he ain't got it anymore.

Karanka destroyed Rhodes by barely playing him. His confidence is gone and he doesn't look 100% fit to me. If we did let him go I can't see us getting more than a few million for him at best.

Playing 352 would probably get the best out of our defenders and we get to play 2 up top. I heard Jos favoured formation is 4231 which may work but would get the best out of ff, only problem is we don't have a striker to play the 1. Jos has some decisions to make

Wallace has been ok the past few seasons but he was only ever a stop gap while we waited to sign good wingers. For whatever reason we never did this and held on to him. His crossing is abysmal, he had two good chances to lay off or cross the ball but decided to shoot instead.
Joao ran himself ragged, I was surprised he didn't get MOM. Probably Carlos' best signing really I believe with consistent game time he really would be a gem but he's down the pecking order to Rhodes who I agree, is a shitliner like Gary Linekar and doesn't work in our current set up because the incompetents can't cross a ball!!
Wildsmith is a good keeper and like Palmer the only two decent academy products we have to show. Palmer, however, needs phasing out.
We came with the intention to park the bus and it worked, the Pigs were poor in the final third but showed good link up play in midfield.
I have to say, our ball control and passing is atrocious. For professional footballers it was embarrassing.

We had Reach, Wallace & Jones as a central midfield 3. Wonder what Jos could do with a midfield 3 of Bannan, Lee & Hutch with Clare as a backup. Hunt & Penney could be the wing backs, Lees, Thorniley & O'grady as the 3 CBs.
Wildsmith in goal Fernando up top with either Joao, Rhodes or Hooper or even Winnall.
Wonder if he might bring in a midfielder on loan with so many if them injured

got to sell westwood bannan rhodes and possible lees ..this will bring enough money in to build a new spine to the team and start with a midfielder not a xxxx winger like we always seem to
build the team around him defenders are easy to find its just will they come or not ? a central midfield player who has it all is the hard part first of all youre looking at 8 million for one and then its will he come ?sunderland battered again ..going down !

Fuckinel Carlos has made yet another tactical change today with swansea 4-1-4-1 thats 3 tactical changes in as many games .. more than his entire last 2 feffing seasons with wednesday the wanker !
