RE: Norwich v SWFC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 14-08-2016

Sounds like a stalemate. Diva won't play and wants to move on. Club aren't selling players. So as CC says he has plenty of players that do want to play.

It isn't good though, and we're having to pay someone whom is refusing to play. It's very sad and disappointing but it's better he show his true colours now. Maybe his missis can get him talks with Milan

We're also a family/community Club. Not a group of plastic manc supporters. This kind of stuff doesn't go over well with the fans who've built an affinity to a player that turns out to be unpleasant.

Again, I can recall days before he signed for us he declared his love for Watford. Could be a psychological game he and/or his agent play when instigating a move?

Don't Be Distracted - We're Still On Our Way

All the talk was about Fessi. Let's see what happens. Either way, we are doing very well on the pitch. We started slowly but the defence performed ably and gradually we took over the match and in the second half, we probably deserved to win it as we took over midfield.

After inaccurate shooting in our opening two matches, we were much better here with five of our seven shots on target. Joao looked lively up front while Abdi, Lee & Bannan kept things moving in midfield.

Westwood - 7
Hunt - 7
Lees - 8
Hutchinson - 8
Pudil - 7
Wallace - 6
Bannan - 7
Abdi - 8
Lee - 7
Hooper - 6
Joao - 7
.................................
Fletcher - 6
Buckley - 6
Nuhiu - 6

Stat Attack:

Goals: None

Assists: None

Touches: 92 - Pudil, 85 - Bannan, 79 - Hunt, 66 - Abdi, 61 - Lees, 59 - Lee, 57 - Hutchinson, 48 - Wallace, 39 - Joao, 33 - Westwood, 19 - Hooper, 11 - Buckley, 8 - Fletcher, Nuhiu

Tackles: 4 - Hunt, Lee, Bannan, 3 - Hutchinson, Pudil, Abdi, 1 - Hooper

Interceptions: 8 - Lees, 7 - Hutchinson, 5 - Bannan, 4 - Abdi, 3 - Hunt, Lee, 2 - Pudil,

Clearances: 6 - Hutchinson, Pudil, 4 - Lees, 1 - Westwood, Hunt, Wallace, Lee, Bannan, Abdi, Joao

Bad Control: 3 - Lee, Hooper, 2 - Wallace, Nuhiu, 1 - Lees, Pudil, Bannan, Joao, Buckley, Fletcher

Crosses (Accurate in brackets): 7 - Hunt (3), 4 - Wallace (1), 3 - Pudil (1), Bannan (0), 1 - Abdi (1), Buckley (0)

Passing Accuracy (Total Passes in Brackets):

91% - Abdi (46), 90% - Lee (41), Hutchinson (40), 88% - Buckley (8), 82% - Bannan (65), 79% - Hooper (14), 78% - Hunt (41), 74% - Pudil - (57), 72% - Wallace - (36), 65% - Lees (46), 61% - Joao (28), 59% - Westwood (27), 50% - Nuhiu (4), 43% - Fletcher (7)

I still believe that we need thirty wins for promotion but a draw at Norwich sets down a good marker and takes two points off a side that will be there or thereabouts come May. There were no weak links and we made a top side look very ordinary.

Tuesday will be different because expectations will be higher and we need to win. Most likely we will go with the same squad again. Hopefully we can find enough to get all three points.

The Fessi situation will inevitably conclude with the player leaving. We just have to get as much as possible for him which is £15 million minimum imo.

RE: Norwich v SWFC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 14-08-2016

definatley sounds like a women is behind this !!! shell be wanting the big house big car gold dildo etc and this poor young might is inbetween the love for his club and the love for his boss !!

The only thing we can do now it seems is sell him but for 15 million or more not the joke number what derby offered !!

Its sad because we wont find anyone like him again untill young Hirsty sprouts hairs on his chest and without the 20 goal a season man i cant see us getting automatic promotion it was plain to see yesterday that Joao although he played well , will not stump up the goals like fessi can !! and hooper fletcher and nuhui are just target men !!

What we do need to do is get this sorted out ASAP because this isnt healthly for any of us !!

RE: Norwich v SWFC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 14-08-2016

It does indeed. The lure of more money. Fernando's missis lives in London I don't think she travels, from her Twitter she seems to think she's a model. so... New York, Paris. London Milan. Delusions of grandeur and the lavish lifestyle you can't get in Sheffield and that's a fact. How many of us have had to give up something and go do something else because our ladies have chirped in our ears??

Yes this is speculation but based on the evidence at hand it really only boils down to a couple of things. And if the problem all lays on Forestieri then the list of possibilities is narrowed down.
It could of course be a complete coincidence that as soon as he becomes married, he's unhappy and needs more money. Whistle

Any player that refuses to play for the club paying him, without a genuine sick note can xxxx off. I hate unprofessionalism in the so called professional world. Does he think he's Balotelli? Footballers are truly thick, self-serving creatures and we have to stop deluding ourselves in to believing the shit that comes out of their mouths.

Right, as for Burton I think it'll be a tough game for us.

I"d like to add I think CC & DC are handling this superbly regarding the media. They've indirectly blamed the culprits and stated the club won't be blackmailed.
CC has gone on to say that now we've made it clear we're not selling, any further bids made will be disrespectful.

I love this man.

RE: Norwich v SWFC Match Thread - Imre varadi - 14-08-2016

On to the Burton game and it will be a cup tie for them there wont be any feffing about from clough !! we can exspect balls knocked in all over our box , so Hutch is going to have to be carefull as in a little ground on a cuptie the home supporters will be heard loud and clear by the ref Doh

God knows what to do upfront now ? Fletcher has to start thats for sure for me Hooper was allover the place yesterday with his controll which was that of a sunday league player Thumb down so if thats the case Joao also has to start as hes the only nippy striker weve got left Doh

This makes me question then do we bring in young Hirst to the bench i dont see any other options here ? apart from maybe Helan ? Buckley needs more time and is only worth 20 minutes a game at the moment again his controll yesterday was awfull Doh

Leeds wil be like putting the meat on the fire for cc Laugh but what to do in a cup tie on a tuesday night in some shithole ground is not so easy Whistle

RE: Norwich v SWFC Match Thread - Statesideowl - 14-08-2016

Is Matias fully fit? Can't he play in the fessi role left or right?

Fletcher to start and see how he gets on, Hoops on the bench with Dave as another option I reckon. 2 games in a week will be too much for the heavily underfed Joao.

I think this would be the game for Helan, if he can bomb down the wing and pass it instead of running it out of play or hoofing it to nowhere.
