RE: 2024 (Shilen Patel) Summer Transfer Window Thread - WBA-Josh - 06-08-2024 Lewis Dobbin, a left winger from Villa, has signed, and Guinluca Frabotta, a left back from Juventus, is having a medical. Some progress seems to be being made now. RE: 2024 (Shilen Patel) Summer Transfer Window Thread - derbybaggie - 06-08-2024 Gianluca Frabotta signed from Juventus on a three-year deal RE: 2024 (Shilen Patel) Summer Transfer Window Thread - 4evaabaggie - 06-08-2024 A left winger and a left back, I feel a bit LEFT out. Glad a few things are moving, any news on Issac Price and all the other midfielders / strikers were linked with. RE: 2024 (Shilen Patel) Summer Transfer Window Thread - Blue Baggie - 07-08-2024 With Dike, Grady & Wallace out. Vultures circling for Mulumby, Swift, Wallace, Fellows I feel Carlos still needs more. RE: 2024 (Shilen Patel) Summer Transfer Window Thread - Blue Baggie - 08-08-2024 With Palace about to get a mega fee for Eze from Man City I'm expecting a big offer for Fellows to be on the table very soon. (£8m +) An offer we reluctantly would have to accept. (£8m +) Of all the players we have, I feel that would be the biggest blow. At the moment, the club feels like Britain under Thatcher - everything is for sale to the highest bidder. The legacy of the previous owner (and his predecessor who sold him the club) is proving to be very poisonous indeed. RE: 2024 (Shilen Patel) Summer Transfer Window Thread - baggietrousers - 09-08-2024 I am a little concerned about what this season will bring, but I still have faith in CC and the owner. It may well be a struggle over the next year or so but hopefully there is a long term plan based on youth now. Kipre and Yokuslu are big losses but I’ve got to say I’m not too bothered about most of the others who have gone. BTA is a striker who can’t score, Townsend is decent going forward but not a great defender, and the rest were bit part players at best. All this concern about Molumby possibly going, so what!!!! I’d be more concerned if he was an integral part of CC’s plans. I'm waiting for a big offer for Fellows from Palace now the Eze deal looks as it's going through. Still concerned about Carlos ? He walked out on Hudds when his best players were sold and now he's in exactly the same position. It's a bad position we're all in. If we maintain a top 6 place he will be lured away for sure. If we're in the bottom 6 the pressure will be immense. Tough times ahead RE: 2024 (Shilen Patel) Summer Transfer Window Thread - Salopbaggie - 10-08-2024 Is it just me or does there seems to be 'no buzz', a lack of information being reported generally, kick off day and I could not be confident who is in the squad. Mind you I have lost the Express & Dingle as I refuse to pay for bios normal news, the Birmingham Mail (Live or whatever its called these day) only seem to put an update up every couple of weeks, something which started towards the end of last season and West Brom News website, I might as well ask my 2 year old grandson he knows as much, though I am hesitant to believe we have signed Paddington bear. Even this site seems pretty quiet for this point in the season. It would normally be buzzing with activities now, but it seems very quiet apart from the overhanging feeling of despondency. Maybe its just me so let me know ![]() RE: 2024 (Shilen Patel) Summer Transfer Window Thread - Blue Baggie - 10-08-2024 (10-08-2024, 10:58)Salopbaggie Wrote: Is it just me or does there seems to be 'no buzz', a lack of information being reported generally, kick off day and I could not be confident who is in the squad. Maybe its just me so let me know It's not easy to get excited when you're better players are sold and they're replaced with frees or loans. Promotion has not even been talked about. A 2 year rebuild is the news of the day. All these rules and regulations are.ruining the game. The word "Game" should no longer be used. Sad for the younger supporters. |
