Yesterday was a tight game we probably should have won if we'd scored when we were on top rather than having to chase the game again. Having said that we could easily have lost if Westwood hadn't scared Lua Lua into missing a sitter near the end by throwing himself at his feet.
I'd only been saying before the game that we need that centre half cover in case of injuries and lo and behold we lose a centre half and one of the players that can cover that position. This did leave Carlos short of options in the second half but I couldn't really see the point of changing Fletcher when he did.
Winnall did add a bit of a spark when he came on but his quality on the ball is poor at this level. Thought Rhodes did ok with little service but expected him to do better with the chances he had. Bannan was more forward thinking than I've seen him in a while and played some excellent passes. However, there is still a lot of room for improvement throughout the team. We were our own worst enemies with some of the sloppy balls we gave away.
Anyway, I'm sure we'll be brilliant on Wednesday night!

I enjoyed winnalls roll youre sleaves up attitude but like you say or didnt say hes a pub league player at best when on the ball his passing was utter shite and maybe if that had been fessi or flecther making the passing we could have scored 10 ? still i think we need someone like him when we have a 3 pronged attack if i remember bambi andy mac and tony cunningham where never the best of footballers technically ! but they gave something to the team that others could only dream about !

why dont we just play there keeper against ours at goalkicks for 90 minutes
