"Has it been mentioned on here that the story is that Rangers advised Police scotland that they were going to be opening the turnstiles to Ibrox after the match to take the cup back there, so on 70 minutes, police decided to deploy a number of officers to Ibrox. G4S also sent a few bus loads of stewards over too, on to recieve a call 10 minutes later to say, come back hibs have scored. This story has been confirmed by the Hibs stadium announcer on social media."
That makes sense and would explain why there was so many police outside the ground being prevented from getting inside by disgruntled huns.

It makes Hibs historic comeback victory in this Scottish Cup final even sweeter for me! As the old saying goes, 'It aint over until the fat lady sings' and how sweet it is to see an arrogant bunch of Govan plebs and their 'hangers on' totally f####d on their premature intention and move to parade the trophy! I hope this is fully revealed in the formal conclusion of the SFA investigation!! A premature presumption eh!!
The plot thickens day by day and a few relative footie and security officials need their erses kicked!!

So now the independent commission details have emerged into the hampden "riot" (compare and contrast with the media reaction following the disorder at wembley with millwall) and yup....it looks like another LNS style stitch up with the remit narrowed to events after full time.
That takes out the sectarian chanting and flares from the rangers fans straight away. I suppose the compliance officer could mention it but i really wouldnae be pinning my hopes on that.
IMO regan was nobbled after the game to go along with this nonsense like the puppet he is. Sure as xxxx i am not expecting a fair outcome.

Hopefully not Jim.....watched a film taken from the Rangers part after the game where at least 2 choruses of "Billy Boys" can be clearly heard. They said it had been sent in to show all the intimidation of the Hibs fans.....I couldn't see a great deal of intent so hopefully they have scored an own goal.
Talking of Millwall I read in the paper yesterday that there was no fighting at their semi with Bradford and it wasn't the same as at Hampden and was all good natured! I watched the game and Bradford players were jostled and the Millwall fans went down the Bradford end........one good reason there was no fighting....Bradford were housed in the upper tier and there was nobody in the lower!.....believe me if there had been then it would have kicked off. Fortunately with forward planning the police and authorities had covered this scenario and put Bradford upstairs....its a pity that a Hibernian goal in the last minute to win the cup had not crossed the SFAs minds and had a plan just in case.

One comment I'd like to make, esp after attending this cup final at Hampden, is the fact that nobody is making a big issue re the smoke bomb that was ignited at the Rangers end of the ground. Having observed that incident first hand, what struck me was the significant size of this smoke bomb - much bigger than anything I've observed at any footie match and it happened just before Stokesy banged in our first goal. My main point is the fact it was downright dangerous with all that smoke being emitted - a far bigger issue than this exaggerated riot and other distorted details that have been uttered by numpties like Gordon Smith, Traynor and a few others who are clearly trying to deflect away from the real problem AGAIN!!!!
Re the SFA's head man, Regan, I'd emphasise again that you should listen to his full story of antagonism and intimidation that was meted out to him and his family at the time when GRFC finally went 'tits up' - it's an enlightening anecdote and tells any interested observer all that he/she needs to know about a Govan club called Rangers, previously named GRFC, and the nasty manner in which they, and factions of their most horrible 'hangers on', go about their business. I'll never know why no appropriate action has ever been taken against them and I'm assuming it's because of the criminal repercussions that this footie institution and it's backers can inflict on people and frighten them!! And you wonder why Stuart Regan has possibly been nobbled - the harassment factor alone is something most folk can do without esp if there is not enough protection/action taken against this kinda practise!!

Just watched game again earlier....stokes was by far best player on park. He roasted their defence all day.

Spot on jim plus on youtube interveiw with ewan cameron stokes admits celtic is his first love but he says after the celebrations with Hibs players & fans our club will hold a special place in his heart.
No doubt all the players will feel same now that there legends @ Hibernian fc but still good to hear him say it as you says it puts all the unrest to bed
