Seemed a bit below par judging by the commentary. First league defeat of 2016, disappointing but not the end of the world and we were playing a team in good form like ourselves.

If you want a positive, we lost to the form team on their patch, they are now on 45 points, 8 points off the playoffs and we have seen before this season that we can go on a bit of a run after a defeat. We were never going to win every one of our last 15 games, but with 14 left there is still a lot to play for and the playoffs are in our own hands. Lets hope we see the reaction form the team on Tuesday and then see FF return with a master performance against Hull to make up for his performance today!!

I completely agree with that, still plenty to play for.

It's just the manner in which we lost today that offended me. It was clear to me by HT we either needed to shuffle the current players/formation or make a change. It wasn't working.. I said we couldn't chase this game.

Once FF received the second yellow it was inevitable, and within minutes we conceded in a game we never once looked like scoring in.. I say that because we didn't get a shot on target in over 90 minutes of football.

It isn't the first time this season we've seen CC reluctant to change anything until it's too late. We knew Preston are in a rich vein themselves.

It felt to me like reliving a SG nightmare insisting on something that isn't working right to the bitter end. Too costly when you're pushing for playoff points.

Well done to Preston, they did what they needed to. We were shit

Would like to see a completely different performance midweek and this can all be forgotten about.

I don't think changing the team at HT was needed. We know we are stronger in the 2nd half usually and in actual fact our best spell was in the second half up to the FF sending off. Thats what did us today, we were not going to win against them with 10 men.

Hutch is integral to our success. Despite players like Bannan & Wallace being present they just don't seem to light up without his presence.

I don't care because I've just been to ASDA and bought a nice 10 year old single malt Thumb up

The wife must be after something or she's got a big credit card bill looming in the post Dodgy

Unlucky folks thought we deserved it on the day and think you probably have played better this season, my match blog thingy is on my site, tried to give a balance view because you are a decent sort on this forum, good luck for the rest of the season, personal view next season may be your big chance possibly one team will be better in the play offs and now Derby have won a game expect them to power forward. Top enjoyable game though and a good atmosphere.

Funnily enough, I picked up a bottle of Teachers as they are only £13.50 at ASDA at the moment but then I thought WTF and went for the Ardmore single malt instead Big Grin
