Noddy has resigned as QPR Manager!

RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - WakeyTerrier - 03-02-2015

Watching QPR lose without that miserable sod in charge won't quite be as enjoyable now.....then again I still want them relegated

Just noticed Harold Hassall has died aged 85. He was one of the last Town players to play for England. Five caps, four goals.

RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Marco4 - 05-02-2015

That's sad news - Hassall was just a name to me; one of those who played before those who could tell me about the old-time players started watching. That doesn't belittle his achievements so much as reflect with a little sadness that I don't/didn't know more.

What do we all think of the bizarre situation at Brentford?

RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Denners - 18-02-2015

It's bonkers Snoots! Why ship your manager out when he's the best thing to have happened to them in donkey's years! It's all on the premise that he might get a better offer in the summer??

Something fishy going on if you ask me....

RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - Lord Snooty - 18-02-2015

Hopefully it will unsettle the side and they will drop like a stone and we can take their play off spot. Whistle

RE: Not The Town O'Clock News - theo_luddite - 18-02-2015

Completely bonkers on the face of it. 'It's not bust yet but I'm going to fix it.' Make all the fancy noises you want but the Chairman isn't just saying his manager isn't good enough for next season, he's questioning the current recruitment methods and thus the ability of the players too. Some would be let go anyway but hey 'why don't I unsettle everybody and watch the promotion push blow up in my face'.
Another one that will be recruiting using Football Manager.

Gary Taylor-Fletcher has joined Millwall on loan until the end of the season.
That's Millwall's 6th loan signing and they are only allowed 5 in their match day squad.
Getting deperate by the sounds of it.

Looked decent enough still when he played against us last season. Think it's time he dropped to league one.
