RE: EUROS - Lord Snooty - 29-06-2021 Well he might as well have for all the good he was on the pitch. Reminds me of Linekar. Does nowt but score. Never seen such a lzy performance in an England shirt. ![]() Enough of the negative though. Let's praise the positives. Raheem Sterling was absolutely brilliant. Bukkake Sako as well. Couldn't understand why Southgate took him off. Grealish has to start the next game, surely. And the defence looked solid enough. Pitchfork another clean sheet. No goals conceded yet. ![]() RE: EUROS - St Charles Owl - 29-06-2021 (29-06-2021, 20:40)Lord Snooty Wrote: Well he might as well have for all the good he was on the pitch. Reminds me of Linekar. It is interesting how we do look better when Kane comes back to win the ball, Spurs do this so well and Son supports Kane by making the runs. But for now, if he can score in each game we will do ok!! Come on you Swede's. My 2nd lucky dip in the sweep. ![]() RE: EUROS - themaclad - 29-06-2021 RE: EUROS - theo_luddite - 29-06-2021 Not fooling me, they normally have towels on all of' em. Never been to Benidorm or Magaluf? De Boer has done the honourable thing. Don't think he's shafting his mate's missus but like our former Health Secretary he's handed in his notice. Shirley they can unearth a better Dyke Hopping coach than him? RE: EUROS - SHEP_HTAFC - 30-06-2021 I must be the only one who thought that the Phillips incident should have been a foul against the German. He stuck his leg so far out towards Phillips that he had no option but to trip over it. He was looking for the foul rather than keep on running towards goal. Amazing result though. First time in 55 years we have beaten them in a knockout game. Should be a decent route to the final. Depends who else gets to the final though. If it's Belgium we will lose. Spain or Italy I think we can win. RE: EUROS - theo_luddite - 30-06-2021 So the latest odds down at Smokin' Joe's are England 2/1 Spain 3/1 Italy 4/1 Belgium 13/2 Denmark 9/1 Swiss 22/1 Czech 25/1 Ukraine 33/1 Are England really favourites or is it a big bias due to England fans lumping on after last night's results? RE: EUROS - hibeejim21 - 30-06-2021 England have the easiest path to the final of the "big" nations. RE: EUROS - theo_luddite - 30-06-2021 That only makes them favourites to get to the final. |
